I was surprised by how silky smooth it felt during my morning cleanse the next day. The finish is dewy and silky. It's perfect as a final step in summer, and great for layering in winter. The product doesn't pill or leave any stickiness - it just melts into the skin, leaving it deeply hydrated for hours. I'm really pleased that it helps prevent that deep dryness feeling.

It's just an ordinary cream that seems a bit pricey. Since I only tried the sample, I can't really comment on its brightening effects.

I received a sample of this a long time ago as part of an event. As stated on the front, it was truly transparent, making me wonder if it was a gel cream. Though it's a brightening product, it feels moisturizing and a little goes a long way. Most importantly, whether it's due to this or the Cynic essence I started using around the same time, my bare face has definitely brightened up.

Since it comes in a jar, I felt I needed to use it up quickly, so I often used it as a foot cream too. Usually, foot creams are very oily and require wearing socks, and even then, the excess often ends up on bedding, socks, or slippers. This cream, however, absorbs quickly and deeply, leaving my feet feeling nicely moisturized.

While I didn't experience any blemishes during use, after looking at the full ingredients list, I probably won't repurchase. There are so many products with better ingredients these days. I'm also not a fan of Kiehl's cream coming in a jar. Given the large quantity, I wish it came in a tube for more hygienic use until the end.

My first impression was that it felt like thin Vaseline. I was worried it might be too rich, but it's close to a gel texture with lots of hydration and just enough richness to give a subtle glow. To be honest, I'm not sure about the brightening effect, but it seems to be good for applying lightly in the spring.
I'm not sure if there are any problems or drawbacks yet, but it doesn't seem to have outstanding advantages either!
It's an unremarkable product in all aspects such as formulation, spreadability, and fragrance.
