The formula provides moisture and hydration, so it doesn't sit on the skin but absorbs well. When you apply it and roll it on the skin, it feels soft and supple, like a whipped cream. I was surprised by how smooth and soft the rolling sensation was when I cleansed my face the next morning. The finish is quite dewy and silky.
It's great to use the treatment as a final step in the summer, and to layer it in the winter.
The product doesn't feel heavy or unabsorbed, and there's no stickiness at all - it just sinks into the skin and leaves long-lasting moisture, so I hardly feel any tightness.

It's just a regular cream, but it seems a bit pricey. Since I only tried the sample, I'm not sure about the whitening effect.

I received a sample a very long time ago through an event. Just as it said on the front, it was truly transparent, so I thought it might be a gel cream. It's a whitening product, but it was moisturizing and I felt like a little went a long way. And most importantly, my bare face seems to have brightened - I'm not sure if it's from using this product or the Cyanic essence, since I bought and started using them around the same time.

Since the jar format means I need to use it up quickly, I've also been using this as a foot cream at times. Foot creams usually have a long-lasting oily feel, where the excess ends up on socks, bedsheets or slippers.
But this cream absorbs right in, leaving my feet nicely moisturized without any residue.

While I didn't experience any breakouts during use, after reviewing the full ingredient list, I likely won't repurchase. There are so many great, gentle formulas available these days.
I also don't like that the Kiehl's cream comes in a jar. I wish it was in a tube format instead, as that would allow for more hygienic and complete usage of the product.

The first impression was like a watery Vaseline. I was worried it might be greasy, but it has just the right amount of oil content to create a subtle glow, while being very moisturizing and absorbing well.
It sinks in nicely and leaves a hydrated finish, so I don't mind reapplying it to dry areas like the eye contour during drier seasons.
