Well, I'm not really sure. I guess it's convenient since it's a compact powder? Every time I used this, I got pimples. I thought it might be due to something else, so I tested it several times over a period. But sure enough, blemishes appeared right when I used this product. I wonder if the ingredients don't agree with my skin... It's such a waste of money to buy something that doesn't work for me. - so*****Combination SkinJan 28, 2020
The pump design is hygienic, which is great. The ingredients seem pretty decent. It didn't cause any blemishes. The packaging is attractive. Even though I have oily skin, it was so incredibly drying that it felt like my skin was tearing apart, making it impossible to use. I wasn't worried about the puff since IOPE usually has good air puffs, but this one seems to be made of a different material and was really disappointing. The sunscreen doesn't apply well at all - the puff absorbs most of it. Moreover, it was so dry that it was difficult to spread. The packaging is incredibly sophisticated and hygienic. The formula is non-sticky yet moisturizing, with the added benefit of brightening the complexion. The brightening effect feels a bit unnatural. Perfect for easy use in summer. It brightens the complexion, making it great for standalone application. Strangely, I couldn't feel any cooling effect at all. It causes deep dryness and severe dehydration, and if not applied carefully, it can look cakey. I won't be repurchasing. It evens out skin tone, brightens the complexion, and doesn't leave residue on your hands. Plus, it's hygienic to apply! The added sun protection means I could reapply it frequently throughout the day. At first, I loved it and used it often. But over time, my skin became extremely dry and itchy. When I'd get home and wash my face, I'd notice my skin looked... well, not great. Blemishes started popping up, and while I initially didn't think it was because of this product, I realized it was like magic - the bad kind. I'd clear up my skin, apply this again, and the blemishes would return. I'd recommend those with dry or super sensitive skin to avoid this if possible. My skin doesn't usually break out, and aside from dryness, it typically doesn't react to skincare or medication. But this product... Even though there's a refill available, I'm considering throwing it away.

It's great that it provides sun protection and evens out my complexion at the same time. Although it can be a bit drying for my dry skin, I think it's fine to use just during the summer months. The downside is that if you use it before foundation, you might experience deep dryness and it could cause pilling. (Oh, and when you first use it, you might notice some redness appearing.) This is the most refreshing sun cushion I've ever used. It brightens the complexion so much that if you apply it carelessly, you might end up looking like a kabuki actor! I've also tried the sun shield cream from the same brand, but this cushion has better adherence and seems to last longer. I'll probably keep using it for a while. While it works well for my combination skin that leans towards oily, it's not great for dry skin types. As someone who finds foundation tedious and prefers brightening moisturizers, I really appreciated that this product combines tone-evening and base makeup in one step. Being a sun cushion, it barely showed any pilling or breakdown throughout the day. The included puff is standard and does the job well. However, the coverage is minimal at best. I'd say it's on the lowest end of the spectrum. The lasting power is also quite short, probably under 5 hours. As time passed, I felt like my makeup was disappearing. By the end of the day, my face looked so bare that I questioned whether I had even applied the sun cushion at all. Additionally, there's no refill option. I'm not sure if this is because I bought it on sale, but the package only included the main product and puff, without any refills. It's decent enough for its purpose. It's convenient for those rushed moments when you need to quickly pat it on and head out. First off, being a compact powder, it's super convenient to use. Plus, it has this amazing cooling effect that feels so refreshing when you apply it - love that! My skin type is sensitive combination! 1. It's so convenient! Just pat it on before heading out - no need to dispense it onto your hands. 2. The packaging is hygienic since you have to press firmly to dispense the product. 3. It has brightening properties, so even with just this cushion, my face looks radiant! (Please refer to the photo) 4. I love that it doesn't have the typical oiliness of sunscreens! 5. Buying during sale periods is a total steal!!!!! 6. It stays put even when I sweat, which is great! The sun protection factor is also high. It's drying! Those with dry skin might find it difficult to apply! Even after slathering on moisturizer, it still felt dry. While the brightening effect is nice, if you layer it, your face can look a bit ghostly.. The dryness makes my skin itchy.. It might even cause dead skin cells to build up. Apply generously to your forehead, cheeks, and chin, then blend it out!
