My husband used to have a lot of scalp blemishes, but since using Hwamisa, his scalp issues have significantly decreased. Unlike other natural shampoos that often leave the scalp oily after just one day, this one seems to cleanse the scalp more effectively. The fresh, clean feeling lasts longer compared to other natural shampoos! The quantity is a bit small for the price. It's quite expensive. I loved the refreshing, cooling sensation on my scalp. Despite being organic, it lathers well and cleanses effectively. I've been exclusively using this shampoo. When your scalp feels itchy, this shampoo provides a refreshing minty sensation. I recommend using it twice a week, alternating with your regular shampoo for best results. It tends to weigh down the hair, which doesn't help much with styling. I alternate this with a volumizing shampoo in my hair care routine.

As someone with an oily scalp, I often feel a sense of heaviness, but after using this shampoo, the refreshing feeling lasts quite a while. I also notice that my scalp feels less oily compared to before I started using it! I was worried that being low pH might mean it wouldn't lather well (I really dislike products that don't foam up), but this one actually produces a nice lather! It doesn't have that typical squeaky clean feeling associated with low pH products at all. The scent... it's not really my cup of tea. This product cured my scalp inflammation that I had been suffering from for six months. I couldn't find relief with various shampoos, not washing, or even medicated shampoos (like Nizoral), but as soon as I used this product, I'll never forget the cool, soothing sensation of healing. Since then, I've been using it on and off. I love the refreshing feel. Being a fermented product, it's gentle on the scalp. Surprisingly, it doesn't leave my hair feeling too stiff after washing. I think this will remain a staple in my hair care routine. After prolonged use, the effectiveness seems to diminish. Like many products, the first lather isn't enough for a thorough cleanse, so double shampooing is necessary. The fact that it becomes unscented after washing and drying your hair can be both a pro and a con. It's also on the pricier side. My husband has very oily hair that gets greasy by evening even when washed in the morning. He recently mentioned his hair seemed to be thinning, so I bought this. He says it lathers well and works better than expected. It's said to contain some root-like ingredients. I bought this from Dure Co-op, so I trusted it from the start. The scent is refreshing and it lathers up nicely. Perhaps because I have oily hair, it feels dry after washing. I first bought this at Orga and tried it. The feel is clean and the ingredients! The ingredients are great. It contains relatively safe surfactants too. I've used up a whole bottle and I'm repurchasing! Since it contains mild surfactants, you might feel like it doesn't lather well. But if you wet your hair thoroughly and shampoo twice, it lathers nicely and even has a cooling effect. I bought it because of the great ingredients, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well it lathers despite being natural. It left my scalp feeling refreshed, which I'm really happy about. Since I have long hair, I went through it quite quickly. I wish the bottle was a bit larger.
