Decent ingredients 4. Reasonably priced 5. Minimal white cast And this sunscreen is really, really good. It's truly amazing. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I love it so much. Although my skin isn't particularly bad, due to the stress from job hunting, my skin has been going through a really tough time, so I went to a dermatologist. They told me to 'use cosmetics with good ingredients that you can even sleep with.' The number one recommendation was to use only mineral sunscreens ㅋㅋㅋㅋ They told me to use a sunscreen that uses only titanium dioxide and zinc oxide for sun protection. My previous sunscreen (Cellusion Toning Sun Cream - I was very satisfied with it, but it was a hybrid sunscreen ㅜ) had just run out, so I decided to try this pure mineral sunscreen. I love it so much.... The application is amazing, and most importantly, ☆no eye irritation☆ It's also reasonably priced. There's almost no white cast. I just apply the sunscreen and go about my day ㅋㅋㅋ Over time, my skin tone returns to normal, so the only downside is that it can look a bit dull ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I've realized that the notion of mineral sunscreens having poor application is now outdated ㅠㅠ I highly recommend this! Especially for those looking for a pure mineral sunscreen!
ConsThere's not much downside, but the protection level is a bit low. It would be even better if it was around SPF 45.

I bought it because the ingredients are gentle and the price is too good to pass up. The application is smooth and there's no eye irritation.
ConsApart from the low price... I keep getting breakouts. I tried switching to other products, but the problem seems to be this sunscreen. I used it again today and got pimples right away in the evening. The Madecassoside line foaming cleanser also doesn't seem to agree with me.

ConsThe volume is small I wish the UV protection level was stronger It's too moisturizing while applying, so I wonder if it won't be easily wiped off by sweat in the summer, and if the UV protection will be effective
TipIt seems good for those with dry skin, but if you have oily skin, you'll need to powder it It would be great to use in the middle of winter when it's very moisturizing

It had a slight oily feel, but it was fine for my dry skin, and the ingredients were good, so I didn't have any breakouts or issues.
ConsIf I had to pick something, there's nothing really. I think it would be good for people who are sensitive to ingredients!

ConsI'm not sure if the blocking effect is working properly It might be because the weather has been too hot lately..

I prefer mineral sunscreens because I have sensitive skin and am allergic to UV rays. I like the white cast of mineral sunscreens as it helps even out my skin tone, so I often don't need to apply a separate base makeup. However, this year I've been feeling an unusual dryness when using mineral sunscreens, so I've been on the hunt for a more moisturizing one. I've tried so many new sunscreens that have launched this year, from the non-irritating hybrid sunscreens to the rich, oily mineral stick sunscreens. After reading reviews, I ended up purchasing the Apieu Madeca Sunscreen during a buy-one-get-one-free event. Even though it's a mineral sunscreen, people said it was quite moisturizing. And it's true - it doesn't leave a white cast at all. There's a slight dewy finish when first applied, but it disappears quickly. Even after reapplying a few times, the white cast doesn't build up. The formula isn't my favorite, but the moisturizing properties are impressive for a mineral sunscreen. In the past, my eyes would get irritated and feel dry by the afternoon, but since using the Apieu Madeca Sunscreen, the dryness and eye irritation have significantly improved. Some have mentioned it feels a bit oily, but the moisture it provides is far more important for my dry, sensitive skin than any slight oiliness. The Apieu Mild Sun Cream, also a mineral sunscreen, was just too drying for me. I'm amazed that a mineral sunscreen can be this moisturizing. And since it's Madeca-based, it's also quite gentle. The only downside is the relatively low SPF, but for my skin type, the hydration is the priority. If you have dry skin and struggle to find a mineral sunscreen that doesn't leave you feeling parched, I'd highly recommend giving the Apieu Madeca Sunscreen a try.
ConsI see, the formula does contain dimethicone and PEG, which are concerning ingredients for you. The dimethicone in particular seems to be problematic, as you feel it makes cleansing difficult even with double cleansing. That's definitely a drawback. And the fragrance issue is a major concern as well. Even though the product is marketed as fragrance-free, you're finding it has an unpleasant, pungent odor that bothers you greatly during application. It's puzzling why this specific sunscreen would have such a strong scent when others claim to be truly fragrance-free. The fragrance and the problematic silicone are significant downsides that outweigh the positive moisturizing properties for your needs. If the scent is that off-putting and the dimethicone is hindering cleansing, this sunscreen may not be the best fit despite its hydrating benefits. It sounds like you're still on the hunt for a truly gentle, fragrance-free mineral sunscreen that won't cause issues with your sensitive skin and cleansing routine. The search continues, but I hope you're able to find a sunscreen that checks all your boxes soon.
TipThat's a great tip! Based on your experience, it seems like using a lighter moisturizing base under the sunscreen could be helpful for those who find the sunscreen a bit too oily or rich. And you make an excellent point about being mindful of applying the sunscreen around the eye area. Since that's a more sensitive zone, it's wise to try to avoid direct application there as much as possible to minimize any irritation or stinging. Adjusting your skincare routine to pair a lighter moisturizer with this sunscreen, while being cautious about the eye area application, could help optimize the performance and comfort of this product for your specific needs. Experimenting with different base products and application techniques is a great way to find the right balance and make the most of a sunscreen that has some promising moisturizing benefits, despite the less-than-ideal ingredients. Kudos for being so thoughtful about finding solutions that work for your skin!

It absorbs well with enough patting and doesn't get too greasy, which is nice. It's a bit small, so it's convenient to carry around.
ConsThere's a slight whitening effect and the amount is a bit less than regular sunscreen.
TipI use the runny type. It seems to have organic UV filters, but some of those types can really sting the eyes, so I apply Madecassoside around the eyes and use a different sunscreen for the rest of my face. There's a bit of a whitening effect, so you have to pat it in well.

It also applies smoothly and leaves my skin feeling moisturized and soft.
ConsWhen I applied the Hanyul Artemisia Moisture Cream and then this sunscreen, my face felt stinging. I'm not sure what the issue was, but the two products didn't seem to work well together.

It seems to be good. There's no stinging sensation when I apply sunscreen, and it feels great.
ConsThe only downside is that it feels a bit greasy. For me, the cheek area is fine, but the T-zone area needs to be blotted with oil-absorbing paper to feel comfortable.

I don't have any eye irritation either. If you're looking for a mineral sunscreen, I recommend you try this one.
ConsI think I need to use it more to know for sure. The cautionary ingredients are a bit disappointing.
