The birch line at Whee seems to be doing more than just the basics. I've used the discontinued mask pack well, and the birch essence was also satisfactory. The power of moisture retention!! After wandering around looking for a mist that would keep my skin moisturized in the dry office environment, without having to apply anything extra on top of my makeup, I found this product. I've tried all kinds of mists that claim to be 'nebula-like' or contain green tea, but most of them would feel moisturizing when sprayed, only to evaporate and leave my skin even drier. But when I started using this product, it's been amazing! Even in the air-conditioned office, during the dry winter and spring at home, and even after my first cleansing before washing my face, if I spray this generously, it not only keeps my skin moisturized but also addresses any underlying dryness. The spray pattern Most mists spray in a circular pattern. Even the ones labeled as 'nebula-like' tend to leave some areas drenched while the edges feel a bit lacking. But this product has a unique horizontal spray that covers the entire face evenly in one sweep. The spray power is also quite good. Absorption Some products (especially Avene) can feel watery and cause makeup to smear or clump when sprayed on top. But this one doesn't have that issue. Without even having to pat it in, it quickly leaves a nice, dewy coating on the skin. The packaging The slim bottle provides a good grip, and it stands up well too. This is a review of the mist I've been using like a toner. ㅎㅎㅎ It's a review of using the product as a toner rather than an all-in-one. ㅋ As the name suggests, it doesn't provide enough moisturizing power and density to be used as an all-in-one, but it's a decent product to use as a toner. It doesn't spray on the face like a mist, but it works well as a toner. I'm using it like a water toner, spritzing it onto my hands and then using it as a toner. The application is smooth, it absorbs quickly, and there's no stickiness or irritation. I've also tried using it as a toner with cotton pads, and the thin, moisturizing formula works well for that purpose without being too thick and wasteful. The Hwahae Trial Reviewer mist has a nice floral-fruity, sweet and fresh scent. The formula includes glycerin, niacinamide, and bergamot oil, so it helps balance oil and moisture while also providing some brightening benefits. It's a pretty decent product overall.
