  Pros

  It's affordable... That's about the only good thing I can say. I'm eager to move on to the drawbacks.

  Cons

  After rinsing, it leaves a greasy residue and doesn't feel clean. The cleansing effectiveness isn't particularly good either. I wouldn't recommend it.

  I first used this product at least 5 years ago, and it's still incredibly popular. Many people continue to seek it out, which is probably why it hasn't been discontinued yet. First off, as you can see in the second photo, this remover has a separate oil layer. So before using, make sure to shake it well to mix the oil! Personally, I didn't experience any eye irritation or stinging, even when it got into my eyes, so I wasn't too concerned about the ingredients. The oil blend allows for gentle, non-irritating makeup removal, which is a big plus. However, it does leave a slightly slippery residue, so you'll need to follow up with a foam cleanser. The scent isn't overpowering and has a refreshing quality to it. While the ingredients may not be top-tier, I didn't notice any issues before learning about the composition. The price point is also affordable, making it an easy purchase without breaking the bank.

  Cons

  Due to the oil content, there's a lingering slippery feeling after removing makeup. This might not appeal to those who prefer a fresh, clean finish.

  Tip

  To use, shake well, then apply to a cotton pad and gently press it onto your eyes or lips before wiping away makeup. For the best deal, keep an eye out for buy-one-get-one-free offers or sales events rather than paying full price!

  Affordable with 1+1 deal Long-lasting product

  Cleansing effectiveness is somewhat lacking (Doesn't remove lip tints or waterproof mascara) Causes a slight irritation in the eyes

  Tip

  As you may know, soak a cotton pad with the remover and gently press it on the area you want to cleanse for about a minute to dissolve the makeup. Avoid rubbing immediately, as it can cause under-eye puffiness or turn your lips blue or dark purple.

  Pros

  First off, it doesn't sting my eyes and removes makeup incredibly gently. When it's on sale, stocking up makes it great value for money.

  Cons

  It feels like it doesn't remove stubborn makeup completely. Even after washing my face, if I rub with a cotton swab, there's still quite a bit of residue... I'm starting to wonder if the problem is with my eyelids.

  Pros

  Best value for money. I mainly use easy-wash products that work with lukewarm water, so this isn't my go-to. However, when I apply waterproof makeup, I always reach for this product along with A'pieu. Its high oil content means you need to be thorough with your foam cleanser during the second cleanse, but that's because it removes makeup so effectively.

  Cons

  There's a residual oily feeling, so you need to cleanse thoroughly with a foam cleanser for your second cleanse. While it doesn't sting my eyes, it's uncomfortable if it gets in them as it makes them cloudy.

  I use a lot of glitter, but it doesn't seem to wash off cleanly. It always leaves residue on my waterline. The lip color, however, comes off easily.

  I appreciated the generous amount. It's... just okay, I guess.

  Cons

  It leaves a lot of makeup residue behind. Depending on my skin condition, it can sometimes sting my eyes. Since it doesn't cleanse thoroughly, I end up rubbing, which caused persistent redness around my eyes while using it.

  You need to use an excessive amount of cotton pads with this product.
