Especially with sunscreens - even those highly recommended or with good ingredients on Hwahae all broke me out. My skin is so sensitive that I can tell when a product is 3 months from expiring because I'll start getting blemishes! Sunscreen was my biggest skincare challenge. Dermatologists and skincare YouTubers all say it's essential. But you need to find one that works, right? After countless trials and errors (and tossing over 6 bottles from brands like Bioderma, Avène, Dr.G, CNP, and Nivea), I finally found success. When my dermatologist recommended Zeroid, I started with their foam cleanser and emulsion. Feeling hopeful, I decided to try their sunscreen too. Long story short - it's fantastic! It's a mineral sunscreen with good SPF and PA ratings. With my contact dermatitis, I'd often feel itchy spots minutes after applying other products, leading to small bumps on my forehead and cheeks if I kept using them. With this sunscreen, I've had zero irritation. I'm truly satisfied!
Cons1. Very rich texture! Probably not suitable for oily skin types. Even as a combination skin type, I found it a bit heavy. But because of the great ingredients, I'm willing to look a bit shiny. I just can't give up on this product! +) Before sunscreen: Used 3 oil blotting sheets After sunscreen: Used 4.5 oil blotting sheets => Due to its rich formula, you must use blotting papers at lunch and dinner to prevent clogged pores and minimize blemishes. 2. Price All Zeroid products are expensive. Just 3 products cost around $100. Buy 6 and you could trade them for a plane ticket! 3. SPF/PA ratings The SPF is fine for me since I'm mostly indoors, but if you're outside a lot, you might want something stronger. With this product, you'll need to reapply frequently if you're outdoors. (Higher SPF/PA often means stronger ingredients, so check carefully! That's why I chose the gentlest option in the Zeroid line.)

Unfortunately, I had to stop using it...
ConsAfter using this, I got blemishes so I gave it to my sister. It also made my skin produce a lot of oil...

It blends well with other cosmetics. There's no irritation.
ConsDue to its oiliness, it's not recommended for oily skin types. It requires quite a bit of rubbing to absorb properly.

It felt genuinely gentle on my skin. The sunscreen applies smoothly without leaving any white cast.
ConsThis product doesn't offer any whitening effects, so it might not suit those looking for that. Also, it's quite rich, so if you use it as a base before makeup, your foundation might slide off. Not recommended for oily skin types...

When applying, it feels like a regular emulsion. Even using just the cleansing foam makes cleansing easy.
ConsDespite trying to use it because it seemed mild, my skin color turned corpse-like pale and bluish-purple in darker areas. Even sunscreens with white cast don't do this, but no matter what I do, it doesn't match my skin tone at all. It makes a person look dirty, somewhat greasy, and pale. After trying a few samples, I ended up using it on my neck.
TipTry a sample before buying. I heard Zeroid Mild Suncream might be getting a renewal. I'm also waiting to test the new version when it comes out!

I can't believe I've only just found such a moisturizing sunscreen. The texture is between an emulsion and a cream - it applies smoothly and doesn't cause any deep dryness even after a while. I was worried about the coconut oil due to mixed reviews, but thankfully I'm using it without any issues. No blemishes appeared, and after wearing it for a bit, you get that Inner Glow look automatically! While it does have a strong white cast initially, it settles into the skin naturally over time, acting like a brightening moisturizer that evens out your complexion. The low SPF makes it very suitable for super sensitive skin. Update (2/13): No pilling when applying BB cream or foundation right after. The white cast means you can skip base makeup - just foundation gives you a dewy glow that makes your skin look great.
ConsLimited availability, had to buy online. Shocked by how white it made my face at first - it takes a while for the tone to settle. While the richness wasn't too much for me, oily skin types might dislike the dewy finish and shine. The coconut oil could potentially clog pores for oily or sensitive skin. Hard to find samples for patch testing. The scent is peculiar and takes some getting used to. Update (12/31): When water touches the sunscreen alone, it runs down white - might be tough to use in summer. After two weeks of using it with Real Barrier Moisture Cream and Zeroid sunscreen, increased oiliness led to clogged pores and blemishes. Best to adjust amount and use with less oily skincare products. Update (2/13): Possibly due to coconut oil and silicone ingredients, blemishes appeared on my right cheek and chin after using half the bottle. Still, moisturizing sunscreens are rare, so I'm using it once or twice a week on dry areas.
TipI noticed coconut oil and cyclopentasiloxane (a silicone) as common ingredients in my recent skincare changes, including cleansing oil. The silicone is fourth on the ingredient list, indicating high content. This confirmed that silicone-heavy products don't suit me (e.g. Laneige Water Bank line), though lower concentrations are generally fine. Initially, my skin looked amazing, but over time, these ingredients built up, resulting in a breakout. If possible, test for about a week before purchasing.

It's reassuring to use as a base product, you know? Since it's in direct contact with the skin, I couldn't help but be concerned about the ingredients. The best part is that even though I have dry skin, this sunscreen makes it feel so hydrated! Even after applying foundation on top, my skin doesn't feel dry at all. For a mineral sunscreen, the white cast isn't too noticeable. Of course, that might be because I have fairly light skin. But as someone with sensitive skin who's tried many mineral sunscreens, I'd say this one has the least white cast! It's also fragrance-free and feels gentle when applied. There's no breakdown or pilling when you layer makeup on top either! I'm on my third repurchase!
ConsHowever, I wouldn't recommend this for those with oily skin! It might make your skin look a bit greasy and feel heavy.
TipI think it's best to apply this by gently patting it onto your skin!

The gentle formula is its best feature.
ConsThe white cast is too intense to apply the recommended amount. It's not PA+++, and it leaves a greasy shine.

I've been using Zeroid as my moisturizer, so I thought this would work well for me too.
ConsUnfortunately, it felt a bit too rich on my skin. Despite its low UV protection factor, it still caused blemishes to appear.
TipIt's disappointing when a product from a trusted brand doesn't live up to expectations, especially for those of us with finicky skin types.

It's amazing that there's no white cast, which is unusual. Typically, mineral sunscreens have a severe white cast and don't absorb well, but this one glides on smoothly like an emulsion!
ConsWhile it's slightly disappointing that it feels a bit rich and leaves a slight shine, I suppose that's pretty common for sunscreens.
