It has minimal white cast and doesn't feel oily. It doesn't cause blemishes and is perfect for applying lightly before makeup! It might be too light for dry skin types. It's great for those with oily skin! (My mom swears by it!) - om*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 8, 2019
If you look at my reviews, you'll see I was a cosmetics nomad. Especially with sunscreens - even those highly recommended or with good ingredients on Hwahae all broke me out. My skin is so sensitive that I can tell when a product is 3 months from expiring because I'll start getting blemishes! Sunscreen was my biggest skincare challenge. Dermatologists and skincare YouTubers all say it's essential. But you need to find one that works, right? After countless trials and errors (and tossing over 6 bottles from brands like Bioderma, Avène, Dr.G, CNP, and Nivea), I finally found success. When my dermatologist recommended Zeroid, I started with their foam cleanser and emulsion. Feeling hopeful, I decided to try their sunscreen too. Long story short - it's fantastic! It's a mineral sunscreen with good SPF and PA ratings. With my contact dermatitis, I'd often feel itchy spots minutes after applying other products, leading to small bumps on my forehead and cheeks if I kept using them. With this sunscreen, I've had zero irritation. I'm truly satisfied! 1. Very rich texture! Probably not suitable for oily skin types. Even as a combination skin type, I found it a bit heavy. But because of the great ingredients, I'm willing to look a bit shiny. I just can't give up on this product! +) Before sunscreen: Used 3 oil blotting sheets After sunscreen: Used 4.5 oil blotting sheets => Due to its rich formula, you must use blotting papers at lunch and dinner to prevent clogged pores and minimize blemishes. 2. Price All Zeroid products are expensive. Just 3 products cost around $100. Buy 6 and you could trade them for a plane ticket! 3. SPF/PA ratings The SPF is fine for me since I'm mostly indoors, but if you're outside a lot, you might want something stronger. With this product, you'll need to reapply frequently if you're outdoors. (Higher SPF/PA often means stronger ingredients, so check carefully! That's why I chose the gentlest option in the Zeroid line.) - ta****Combination SkinRecommendedOct 13, 2019
It's really quite versatile. The white cast is minimal and it absorbs well into the skin. At first it's fine, but as you continue using it, you might notice some pilling later on. Make sure to apply your skincare thoroughly and pat this sunscreen in generously. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 16, 2019
I bought this from a dermatology clinic and it cleared up my blemishes. Unfortunately, I had to stop using it... After using this, I got blemishes so I gave it to my sister. It also made my skin produce a lot of oil... - ly********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 18, 2019
I absolutely swear by this product! It's dermatologist-recommended, and I've been using it consistently for about 6 months now. Before this, I tried a sunscreen that my friends raved about for being super gentle, but it caused a blemish bonanza for two days straight! So I immediately switched to this one, and like magic, the blemishes vanished. It sounds too good to be true, but I'm not exaggerating! Also, I love having naturally fair skin. After applying the emulsion and layering this on lightly two or three times, my skin becomes beautifully fair in about 5 minutes. You know how some brightening moisturizers make your skin look artificially white on the surface? This doesn't do that at all - it looks completely natural, as if it's my own complexion. I absolutely love it! The scent isn't particularly pleasant. It has a bit of a strong smell, but once you apply it, you don't notice the odor. This works great when used with other Zeroid products. I'm currently using the Zeroid MD emulsion followed by this sunscreen. I usually try to match my skincare routine - toner, emulsion, cream, cleanser, and sunscreen - from the same line. But I've heard amazing things about the Dokdo line, so I'm thinking of switching to that. Except for the sunscreen - I'm sticking with this one for sure! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 1, 2019
As someone with acne-prone skin, I found this product gentle on my eyes and generally satisfactory. If I had to point out a drawback, it would probably be the price. It's a great product if you can overlook the cost. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 27, 2019
The lightweight texture applies smoothly and gently. It blends well with other cosmetics. There's no irritation. Due to its oiliness, it's not recommended for oily skin types. It requires quite a bit of rubbing to absorb properly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 24, 2018
It's 100% mineral sunscreen that's moisturizing and absorbs well. There's a slight white cast, but it gives your skin a brightened look. You can get away with just applying this sunscreen on bare skin. The biggest advantage is that it comes off easily with just a cleansing foam. I used to use a waterproof sunscreen and cleansing oil before, which caused small blemishes on my forehead. After switching to this sunscreen and stopping the use of cleansing oil, my blemishes have decreased. As easily as it cleanses off, it has low staying power. It washes off very easily with water and sweat. I use this sunscreen for daily use, but for situations where I expect to sweat a lot, I use a different waterproof sunscreen. - he*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 13, 2018
It stays put without pilling! Even when I apply a generous amount, my makeup doesn't budge. Purchasing was a bit of a hassle. The combination of online-only availability, high price, and rare discounts made it tough. - ha*********Oily SkinAcne SkinDec 18, 2017
Despite some acne-triggering ingredients listed, I personally experienced no issues. It felt genuinely gentle on my skin. The sunscreen applies smoothly without leaving any white cast. This product doesn't offer any whitening effects, so it might not suit those looking for that. Also, it's quite rich, so if you use it as a base before makeup, your foundation might slide off. Not recommended for oily skin types...
