It feels like it creates a protective layer on the skin.
ConsHonestly, about 10 minutes after applying it, my eyes started stinging and my skin reacted badly. My face still feels hot. I was at Lohbs to buy a different cream when an employee gave me a sample of this to try. After washing my face and applying it, my skin turned red and itchy, so I immediately washed it off. I've since reapplied my toner and a cica balm, but my skin is still burning. Even though the ingredients list includes fragrances and other potentially irritating components, I tried it because the employee recommended it. What a mistake! I've never used a cream that disagreed with my skin this much before.

That's about it.
ConsIt doesn't appear to suit my skin type. First off, it causes redness and small blemishes. After application, there's a slight but noticeable itching sensation. Moreover, I purchased it from the official website, but their return process is less accommodating compared to other sites. I'm so frustrated that I'm on the verge of tossing it out without even attempting a return.

The gel-like texture absorbs well and is packed with hydration. However, when I slathered it on generously at night and woke up in the morning, it had all been absorbed. For my dry skin, this cream wasn't quite enough.
ConsMy skin is usually quite resilient, rarely getting blemishes or reacting badly to skincare products. But this cream gave me a slight tingling sensation when applied. I wonder if there's an ingredient that doesn't agree with me... Moreover, if I apply this in the morning before makeup, it causes extreme pilling! It pills 100%, no, 200%!! I've tried letting it absorb fully before applying makeup, and even using a thin layer, but nothing works... If I use this cream, my makeup always pills. So I absolutely can't use it in the morning, and even when I try to use it at night, it makes my skin itch. It's a cream I really don't want to reach for. I only used it because I had to write a review as part of The Hwahae Testers, but I won't be using it anymore.
TipI recommend not using it in the morning. Your makeup will pill like it's coming off in layers.

The texture is somewhere between a rich cream and a gel - I've attached a photo of it swatched on the back of my hand. As expected, it's not extremely lightweight when applied, but it's not sticky either - it's right in the middle. At first, it feels a bit tacky, but within 5 minutes it absorbs completely, leaving the skin feeling soft. I think it would be great for spring through fall. Those looking for intense hydration might find it lacking - my mom, who has dry skin, felt the same way. The scent is a fresh, cool fragrance that I've smelled before but can't quite place. I'm not particularly sensitive to fragrances, so I used it without issues. The glass container is nicer than plastic, in my opinion. My mom (40s, dry skin) and I tried it together. She gave it 4 out of 5 stars. Her review: Not extremely moisturizing, so it's not enough on its own, but good for light morning application. I'd also give it 4 out of 5 stars. My review (20s, combination skin, very oily T-zone + blemishes + sensitive skin): Slightly rich for the T-zone, perfect for cheeks. Doesn't make skin greasy, so it's great for light application before makeup. In the morning before makeup, I use this product alone after cleansing and toning. In the evening, I use it as the last step in my routine: toner-skin-emulsion-moisturizer.
Cons(Continuing with the positives due to character limit) The products I'm currently using aren't extremely hydrating either, but this Cremorlab moisturizer gives a strong feeling of locking in all the previous steps, making it great as a final layer. Now for the downsides - My mom doesn't have particularly sensitive skin, while I have reactive, sensitive skin. When we first applied it together, only my mom felt a slight itching sensation. Looking at the ingredients on Hwahae, there are almost no harmful components, but as with all skincare products, everyone's skin reacts differently. So for those with extremely sensitive skin, there might be a chance of irritation.
TipOverall review: A moisturizer suitable for use year-round, except perhaps in winter. Recommended for those who prefer a fresh feel. If you're looking for a rich, heavy hydration, this product alone won't be enough. We're currently using it as a light moisturizer for the whole family. Will repurchase.
