It's a shake-before-use product, and shaking produces a dense foam. But even when I occasionally forgot to shake, it still foamed up nicely. I found it convenient that the foam came out well even when I tilted the bottle instead of keeping it upright. Being a mousse type, it was difficult to control the amount. It always dispensed a bit more than I wanted, and small bubbles would slowly form and collect at the nozzle. I intentionally bought the 'Moist' version because mousse cleansers often have strong cleansing power that can leave my skin feeling tight. However, after washing, instead of feeling moisturized, it seemed like the cleansing effectiveness was lacking. It felt like some oil residue remained, which made me feel a bit uncomfortable. The foam didn't seem to mix well with water during cleansing; instead, it just fell off when water touched it. Also, even though I could feel product remaining when I shook the bottle, nothing would come out, so it seemed to run out faster than expected. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 24, 2019
It's relatively affordable and many people praise its rich, creamy lather. I decided to try it despite having sensitive, acne-prone skin and was worried it might cause breakouts. Fortunately, it didn't trigger many blemishes. I appreciated that it's a mousse-type cleanser with a soft, dense foam that seems gentle on the skin, causing minimal irritation. I wasn't sure if it was cleansing thoroughly, and no matter how much I rinsed, there was always a slippery feeling left behind. I ended up switching to a different product before finishing this one. While it's true that the foam is rich and non-irritating, I didn't get that fresh, clean feeling after washing, so I didn't use it for long. As someone who wears heavy makeup, I need something that removes it effectively, but this didn't seem to do the job well. Many people who wear full coverage makeup often use a foam cleanser as a final step after double cleansing, but this product left a slightly slick residue that made it unsuitable for that purpose. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 15, 2018
The foam is absolutely luxurious and feels amazing. My sister loves it so much she says she uses it just for the foam. The best part? The fantastic texture! But honestly, that's about it... Like the reviewer above, I find the cleansing effectiveness to be lacking. It feels like there's residue building up around my nose, making me eager to switch to a different cleansing product. Plus, there are many questionable ingredients that make me skeptical. If you still want to give it a try, wait for the 50% off sale at Olive Young. That way, you'll at least get a good deal. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJul 15, 2017
I used to find it a hassle to create lather when cleansing, but this product comes out as foam right from the start, which I really enjoyed. I feel good every time I cleanse with it, and the foam is so rich and creamy. It also has a nice fizzy, popping sensation which I liked. Maybe because it's so foamy, I don't feel like it's cleaning me thoroughly enough. I always feel the need to wash one more time. I don't think I'll be repurchasing this once I finish it. I would recommend this product to those who find creating lather to be a chore.
