Even natural products caused breakouts, so I hesitated a lot before buying this, but I regret not buying it sooner - it's that good! 👍 After using the mask, my skin feels so smooth and supple, and you can visibly see the impurities being drawn out. With having to wear a mask all the time these days, my pores had become enlarged and my skin was clogged with sebum, but after using this mask, the sebum seems to have been absorbed and my pores look tighter! I also feel like my skin has regained its elasticity.
ConsMany people have commented on the scent, but it's just a typical sulfur smell, no more or less than that, and it doesn't bother me at all. The 10-minute or so mark is the 'danger zone' where the mask really starts to itch and feel irritated, to the point where I wanted to scratch my toes. But once you get past that, it's smooth sailing for the full hour!
TipYou need to apply the mask in a thin, even layer across your entire face - don't glob it on too thick! If it's applied too thickly, the impurities won't be drawn out as well, and as the mask dries, it can cause broken capillaries, which is an issue for me since my skin is already quite thin. Also, don't use this mask with the air conditioning on! It dries out way too quickly that way, and the impurities won't be able to be properly extracted.

Everyone buys a lot, please don't let it become famous and get discontinued, I've been using it for 2 years as a single person. Especially recommended for those with sensitive skin. The makeup the next day is different, your complexion changes.
ConsSmell? It has a slightly fishy smell, but I can tolerate that. It can be irritating, but is this product toxic to the face? If used too much, it can be itchy and irritating. Even when I used a deep cleansing mask from another brand that claimed to detoxify, it was so itchy and irritating that I wondered why, but it turned out my face was the problem. This also has a deep cleansing concept, so it's itchy and irritating, but the problem is with me, not the product. Based on my own experimentation, if I use the mask frequently (twice a week), the irritation and oiliness that makes the mask color change disappear.
TipIf you use a sponge to remove it, it comes off cleanly. But it rinses off really well after the mud pack, so there's no hassle. When removing other brand's mud packs, I had to rinse it dozens of times because of the residue left behind, which made me dislike mud packs, but this one doesn't have that problem.

Recently, my skin has been flipping out, with acne constantly popping up. Even with makeup, it would look uneven, so I was trying to manage it when I heard that a mud pack was good. I looked into it and found the Cheonjoeun Mud Pack!! I used it about 4 times a week, and the difference between using it and not using it is astonishing!! They say brides use this mud pack before their wedding makeup, and while my skin may not be porcelain-like, it has improved so much compared to its original state. Even after doing my basic skincare and applying a heavy moisturizer, my makeup would still look cakey. Now, just a simple skin lotion is enough, and it doesn't look uneven! The acne is slowly calming down and disappearing (at least in my case...). My skin has become so soft and supple that I can't stop touching it (but I know I shouldn't because it can cause irritation...)
ConsThe smell... the smell... the smell!!! I always notice it when I'm using the pack, and I just can't get used to it. And the impurities or bad things on my face? The more there are, the more the mud dries, and there's a slight stinging or itchiness, which I think is because my skin condition is quite severe.
TipFor those with sensitive skin, it's best to apply the pack right after cleansing, when your skin still has a bit of moisture (just my personal opinion). The instructions say to leave it on for an hour, but I only do it for 40 minutes since my skin is so sensitive.

Here's a review from the Hwahae Trial Reviewer! I'm writing this quickly during work as I was asked to do it by today, so I'll attach more photos later and revise the details in the review. It's just so good!! My sensitive skin didn't have any trouble with it. Use it two or three times! My skin has really improved. I used to have a skin that couldn't even exfoliate properly.
ConsThe downside is that it needs to be refrigerated, shaken, and applied with a brush, then washed off after an hour. (But the inconvenience is worth it to use the product.) Does your face feel too tight? I applied it to my sister too, and she said her forehead was itchy, so I washed it off in less than 20 minutes. As for me, I was fine keeping it on for an hour.
TipIt's best to lightly dampen the brush, adjust the consistency, and apply it in a thin layer.

I carefully read the product manual that came with it and shook it vigorously to use it.. My forehead, nose area, and pores are wide, and my skin is losing elasticity.. Blemishes also occasionally appear, and my skin is sensitive. When I squeezed it a few times, it spread smoothly and softly.. As it dries, it feels like my pores are tightening! When rinsing, it only took 3-4 times to wash it off, and it didn't feel slippery or greasy, but rather cleaned off nicely.. Some products don't rinse off properly, and you have to scratch and scrub with your nails to remove them, but that wasn't the case here, and the oil and blackhead removal effects are excellent.. And I feel like my skin tone has brightened as well
Cons15 minutes later, my skin started to sting and itch.. ㅜㅜ Since it was my first time using it, I just tried to bear with it. At first, the smell was tolerable, but as I spread it more, the gradually intensifying smell became unbearable.. On top of that, there's quite a bit of powder flaking off once it dries. I haven't used it much yet, so I'm not sure, but it doesn't seem to exfoliate well.. My skin sometimes peels off on the surface, like when I come back from the beach in the summer, and this didn't seem to solve that problem.
TipUsing a steam towel before or exfoliating the day before using it really gives you a clean, smooth skin

(Warning: Extremely disturbing photos, especially the 3rd one...hahaha I took them without any editing) It's suitable for all skin types, but since I have sensitive skin, I was a little worried. Before using it, I read the instructions and saw the warning that it could cause redness, itchiness, or stinging, so I was prepared. The photos are 1 minute after application, 10 minutes after, and after cleansing. One good thing (?) is that you can see how many pores you have after it dries. The brush came with it, but I just spread it with my fingers and the application was fine. Less than a minute after applying, I started feeling a tightening sensation. The instructions say 30-60 minutes, but I absolutely couldn't last more than 10 minutes, so I rinsed it off completely dry. I didn't apply it too thickly. When rinsing, there was a nice 'protective barrier' feeling. After cleansing, my skin looked a bit brighter in the mirror. The good points are something I'll have to try more to really know. I'll use it more and add to this review later.^^
ConsYou really need to shake it well before using. At first, only a watery substance came out, but after shaking, it came out properly. When I squeezed it, the smell... it was kind of off-putting, like bleach? I think because I applied it thinly, the tightening sensation was too strong. It dried really fast too. After it dried, my face started itching a lot. After cleansing and looking in the mirror, my face was all red and irritated again... The red circle area in the photo is really inflamed. The instructions say this is the natural mud cleansing effect, but it stung and tingled a bit, so I think sensitive skin should consider using it carefully. It says it gets better with continued use, though.
TipFor sensitive skin, I think the drying time should be around 10 minutes before rinsing. I'm a bit better now, but there could still be some irritation and breakouts. Since there are a lot of impurities, that could be the reason, but no need to worry too much about it.

ConsIt smells like sewer. It just doesn't suit me at all.. When I do a facial pack with natural grain powder, my face breaks out in hives and gets red and itchy.. This pack was also really itchy as it dried.. The first time I used it for 3 minutes, and the second time for 10 minutes, but even while enduring the itchiness, it just didn't work for me.. The itch was so bad that I had to open my mouth wide, and as it dried, it cracked and wrinkled, and ugh... As someone with claustrophobia, seeing the wrinkles triggered that phobia. I just won't use it, and I'll let my mom try it once, and if she says it's okay, I'll let her use it, but if she doesn't like it, I'll give it to an acquaintance... or just leave it... or throw it away....
TipNone for me.

ConsIt was recommended for use on troubled skin, but as soon as I applied it, it started itching terribly after 10 minutes. I endured it a bit and used it for about 40 minutes a day for 5 days, but there was no improvement and I actually ended up with more breakouts.
TipSince it's a natural mud, it might work well for those whose skin agrees with it. You can see the sebum being extracted as the mud dries.

Then, I happened to see a YouTuber using this product and was intrigued, so I decided to try it. As I have combination skin with acne-prone areas, I was worried that this product might not work for me either, but after some consideration, I purchased and used it. At first, my face felt too tight, stinging, and unbearable, so I only used it for 15 minutes and rinsed it off immediately. After washing it off, my face became flushed, and I thought it might not be suitable for me. However, after using it a few more times, I was relieved to find that no new breakouts occurred. Later, I started using it for an hour, three times a week. As I continued using it, I realized that it was extremely effective in removing blackheads. The website mentioned that the redness was due to the osmotic pressure of the mud, but the adhesion feature was truly impressive. Seeing the reduction in blackheads and the improvement in my skin texture, I came to the conclusion that this is a holy grail product for me!
ConsWhile the price is on the higher side, I don't think the investment is too much for me. I've wasted a lot of money trying different products to remove blackheads, so this is the first one that has shown such effective results, and I'm planning to continue using it. Also, if you skip using it for a few days and then apply it, your skin can feel extremely tight and itchy as it starts to dry. Even though it's attributed to the osmotic pressure, I would advise those with sensitive skin or who experience any reactions after using it to avoid this product.
TipWhen you first start using it, it's best to try it for around 20 minutes, like a sheet mask, and see how your skin reacts. If your skin doesn't seem to be overly irritated, you can gradually increase the time up to an hour. After using it, you may see the mud adhered to your skin in small dots, like it's stuck in your pores. At that point, you can use a pore brush or a silicone brush (around $2 from Daiso) and gently massage your face with a cleanser to remove the adhered mud. (((((((Store it in the refrigerator))))) Be sure to shake it well before each use. **Since it's quite pricey, I'd recommend trying the 50g size first before purchasing the larger size. The 50g is already 22,000 won, and the quantity is quite small, so keep that in mind.😂 +2017.9.21 These days, I only use it once a week or once every two weeks. As I have combination skin with acne and plenty of blackheads, I used to exfoliate twice a week and wipe my face with cotton pads after cleansing. But after some research, I've stopped using cotton pads and now just do a water-only cleanse in the morning, followed by a simple lotion and a cream that suits my skin. I only use this mud mask when I feel my skin is really oily and congested. Using it too often, even daily, can actually end up irritating the skin and causing more breakouts. So moderation is key. +2018.1.24 My skin has improved a lot, but it's become a bit more sensitive. Using this for a full hour started causing some new blemishes to appear. I'd recommend limiting it to a maximum of 30 minutes, everyone.

After doing a mud pack and washing my face, my face looks whiter. I can see the sebum coming up, so I expect it to be effective.
ConsUgh It's all messed up I got a breakout, bumps, and it's even itchy.. I'm going to the dermatologist tomorrow bye bye
TipEven though others say it's good, I'm reminded again that it may not be good for me
