It's clear that more sebum is coming up in the areas that concern me. The sebum also feels organized, and there's an exfoliating effect, so my skin feels smooth after using it. I've been using it since college, and I'm already on my nth tube.
ConsSince it's a tube pack type, it feels a bit stiff if you use it for a long time. On the other hand, the single-use type has too much product, so it feels wasteful.

Even natural products caused breakouts, so I hesitated a lot before buying this, but I regret not buying it sooner - it's that good! 👍 After using the mask, my skin feels so smooth and supple, and you can visibly see the impurities being drawn out. With having to wear a mask all the time these days, my pores had become enlarged and my skin was clogged with sebum, but after using this mask, the sebum seems to have been absorbed and my pores look tighter! I also feel like my skin has regained its elasticity.
ConsMany people have commented on the scent, but it's just a typical sulfur smell, no more or less than that, and it doesn't bother me at all. The 10-minute or so mark is the 'danger zone' where the mask really starts to itch and feel irritated, to the point where I wanted to scratch my toes. But once you get past that, it's smooth sailing for the full hour!
TipYou need to apply the mask in a thin, even layer across your entire face - don't glob it on too thick! If it's applied too thickly, the impurities won't be drawn out as well, and as the mask dries, it can cause broken capillaries, which is an issue for me since my skin is already quite thin. Also, don't use this mask with the air conditioning on! It dries out way too quickly that way, and the impurities won't be able to be properly extracted.

I was drawn to the osmotic phenomenon and bought this product with my own money. After using it, I can see that my sebum has been nicely regulated and my skin feels smooth. As it dries, the oily secretion becomes so addictive that I want to use it every day.
ConsThe smell!! Isn't everyone too lenient about the smell? It really smells like poop, like a passing poop truck. Or maybe a thousand-year-old bad breath? And it's so irritating that my veins pop and my skin turns red and blotchy after washing.
TipYou can stuff a tissue in your nose.

During periods when my breakouts are excessive, using a mud pack helps cleanse deep into my pores. At first, it may feel a bit irritating, but the more you use it, the cleaner your skin will feel. It seems like the impurities being removed have also brightened my skin tone. I used this mud pack long before it became widely known, switched to other options due to the price, but eventually settled back on this Chamjoeun Mud as the best choice.
ConsYou all know the smell... it's kind of like a sewer smell, haha. But it does seem less pungent than when I first started using it years ago. Compared to mud packs from drugstore brands, the price range is not that affordable either.
TipIt's best to start with a shorter application time than recommended when first using it. I was also taken aback by the stinging and itching sensation at first, but you'll get used to it over time. And when I used it for the first time in a while, I experienced some purging where my breakouts flared up, but as a highly sensitive skin type, I've been able to use it without any major issues so far.

When you apply it, it quickly hardens and absorbs all the impurities. Once it's fully hardened, it tightens your face, giving you a lifting effect.
ConsThe natural scent is a bit pungent...haha And the price is too high. The amount is also small, and it peels off easily when drying.
TipThe longer you leave it on, the more sebum? comes out, and more impurities build up on your nose area. But I find that leaving it on for too long makes my face feel too dry, so I rinse it off as soon as it hardens. It makes a mess in the sink when you wash it off, so be sure to do it before your shower, haha.

In conclusion, I feel that using this consistently will help regulate and balance the oil in my skin. It really is a product you have to try to understand - it gently refines my skin's oil and leaves it soft. Since there is minimal irritation, I think even sensitive skin can use this. It also helps with exfoliating and brightening my skin tone.
ConsThe only downside is the scent :( However, I've decided to keep using it because it's the best product I've found for effectively removing the oil from my T-zone. It definitely helps with pore refinement and exfoliation!
TipAfter applying and letting it dry, try layering a face mask on top. And after lightly drying, you may notice that the skin tone on your face and neck differ, but don't be surprised by that!

I am a 20-year-old with combination skin, acne, and sensitive skin. - The fact that it does not contain chemical preservatives and fragrances! - First, the pack dries quickly, which is good. This pack dries completely within 10 minutes. - It's a wash-off type that you rinse off with water, and it rinses off really well. Other wash-off types (like the Shrek pack) take a really long time to rinse off with water. But this one rinses off quickly, which is convenient.💕 - ⭐️ In terms of the most important pack effect, I'm satisfied for now! This pack is meant to remove sebum and impurities from the pores. After using it, I could see the sebum coming up to the surface, and blackheads were slightly faded. There's no visible effect like a nose pack yet. And my face became really smooth! - I was worried that my face would get red and irritated, and breakouts would come up, but the next day, nothing came up!! My skin became plump, and there was a slight whitening effect too. The blackheads were definitely faded. 👍 After 4 uses - I rinsed off the pack 1 hour after applying it. The blackheads on my nose and T-zone area have definitely faded!
Cons- This is a really serious downside - the 'smell'!!! I understand they didn't use fragrances, but the foul sewer-like smell is really severe. I'm quite sensitive to smells, and it made me feel nauseous, so I had to keep holding my breath. - It's expensive. It's a burden for a student to use. - The pack time is long. You have to invest about 1 hour, so you have to apply it and do other things.
TipPack time: Apply it as thinly as possible and let it dry completely for at least 10 minutes, then wait 20-50 minutes. Personally, I think applying it thinly works better. - Be sure to refrigerate it! 👉 After refrigerating and using it, it doesn't spread well, so mix in a tiny bit of water to use it. - If you're sensitive to smells, don't apply it right under your nose!!!!!! I used a tissue to cover my nose.

First, the good points are that I could really feel the pores opening up and the sebum coming out, just as the promotional description said! There's no particular cooling sensation, but after leaving the mud pack on for about an hour and rinsing it off, I could see that some of the areas that weren't visible before, like the pores, had visibly come up. Among the sebum that came up after the pack, the tiny ones like little millet seeds were easily squeezed out without leaving any scars! And while drying for 40-50 minutes, if you look closely in the mirror, the areas with more sebum secretion and enlarged pores, like around the nose, cheeks, and T-zone, gradually become more pronounced, almost as if they're being filled in with dots. This gave me a tangible sense that the mud pack was really absorbing the sebum and impurities. Looking at it now, the price of over 60,000 won for two bottles is quite expensive, but even if it's a little over 30,000 won per bottle, it doesn't seem that expensive in terms of cost-effectiveness. Since you spread a thin layer on the face using the included pack brush, you don't use much per application. Of course, it's much more expensive than regular sheet masks, but even though I've used it 3 times, I feel like I've only used about a quarter of it, so I think I can use one bottle at least 10 times. If it's less than 3,000 won per use, I'd say it's a somewhat expensive but still reasonable mask.
ConsSince I have a dry skin type, just as the product description said, after applying the mud pack right after cleansing and leaving it on for about an hour, when I rinse it off, my face feels very tight and dry. I understand it's removing sebum, but I'm not sure if it's also providing nourishing ingredients... Also, it takes about 4 times longer than a regular sheet mask, so it's difficult to do it frequently.
TipAfter rinsing off the mud pack, the sebum has come up much more noticeably than before, and the small, white sebum plugs that are clearly visible can be easily squeezed out. However, each time I've used it 3 times, large and painful sebum plugs(?) have also come up, and you shouldn't try to squeeze those. On the first day, I tried to squeeze them but they wouldn't come out, so I kept pressing, and the surrounding skin got all red and painful, so it's best to just leave those alone. While it does bring out the sebum deep inside, the large sebum plugs that were deep in the skin also get pulled to the surface, so honestly, after doing the pack, I feel like I actually get more blemishes on my face, so I don't really have the intention to buy this with my own money.

My skin is very sensitive, so I only tried it on the oily areas like my nose and cheeks. The good points are: 1. It's really like a natural mud pack 2. As it dries slowly, you can see the sebum coming up (When I tried it on the back of my hand, it dried up completely without any sebum, just like on my nose) 3. It rinses off very well (I gave it a high rating for this, as regular mud masks are very difficult to wash off, but this one rinses off really well) After washing, my skin felt smoother, which I liked.
ConsFirst, the smell;; It was quite unpleasant, almost as if it was really natural. And while they said it's good for acne, it was so drying that it was difficult to apply on sensitive areas, so I wouldn't recommend it for sensitive skin. My eyes also felt a bit stinging and spicy, for lack of a better word. After washing, my skin also became a bit reddish, which the website said was normal, hmm.. And in terms of price, it's too expensive, it would be difficult to purchase it on my own.
TipYou definitely need to shake and mix it well before using. If you just apply it, the water and mud will separate and come out. It's better to squeeze some onto your cheeks and mix it a bit before applying.

My skin felt incredibly soft and smooth, and I could immediately feel the improvement in skin texture. The excess sebum was also reduced, which was great. Since it's a natural mud, it rinsed off easily without having to scrub hard. The better the mud quality, the less residue it leaves behind when rinsed off. The next day, I definitely noticed a reduction in oil production. I think I'll be using this throughout the summer!
ConsThe high price... And to see proper results on blackheads, you need to use it consistently and repeatedly. On the first use, I thought I was wasting my money as the blackheads didn't disappear as expected. But after using it 2-3 times a week consistently, the blackheads did start to fade. The oil production decreased, and that helped with the overall skin condition. Honestly, I'm not the type to just pop out blackheads. The unpleasant smell and the long 40-60 minute application time are downsides though. It might be better to use a pore-tightening special care product before applying this expensive pack.
TipSince it's pricey, I don't use it all over my face. I just focus on the T-zone and chin areas, and I can get two uses out of one pack.
