Pros
The serum is as thin as a runny nose. As I have dry skin, I found it great to use in the summer. It leaves a moisturized feel without any stickiness.
Cons
Since this was a gift product, I used it without knowing the product information. When I applied it to my face, I felt the alcohol content evaporating. So I looked up the ingredients on Hwahae and sure enough, there was alcohol in it. I usually only use gentle products because my skin is sensitive, so I really felt the impact of using a product with alcohol. While the moisturizing is good, it seems to irritate my face, so I'm just using it on my hands now.

Among the moisturizing essences I've tried, (from brands like Laneige, Innisfree, etc.), this one ranked quite high in terms of controlling dehydration. (If I had to rate it on a scale of 1 to 10 in terms of effectiveness, I'd give it an 8 to 9). This is a moisturizing essence that doesn't feel heavy or slippery on the skin.
Cons
While I acknowledge that this is a high-performing product, I can't help but feel that the price is a bit too high. The inclusion of phenoxyethanol was also a major reason why I was hesitant to purchase this. (Even though it's a relatively minor ingredient, I prefer to avoid preservatives when there are many preservative-free moisturizing essences available these days). If the price were lowered and the phenoxyethanol removed, this would definitely be a product I would consider buying.
Tip
This may not be the most conventional method, but I found that layering this essence in the opposite direction of my skin's grain helped it absorb evenly and thoroughly into my skin.

The pore care was great It was really moisturizing and even though it had alcohol ingredients, the moisturizing effect remained. You can think of it as being close to a water-type product. There's no stickiness at all, and I highly recommend it for oily skin types.
Cons
Since I have dry skin, I had to layer it, so it felt a bit dry. There were a few ingredients that bothered me a bit! Sensitive skin types should be cautious🙂
Tip

The ampoule was a perfect fit for my sensitive and combination skin! It has a watery, flowing texture, and when I apply and absorb it, it's incredibly moisturizing!!! I didn't see much effect from using the Skinfood* Propolis, but I started seeing results after using this for a week! Not only when I apply it, but my skin also seems to be getting more moisturized as I use it!! I'm alternating between this and the Laneige* Ampoule!! I'm definitely making this a permanent item in my routine😆

Hmm..if I had to pick something, there doesn't seem to be any particular downside that I can think of haha

I usually apply the eye cream first after cleansing. Then, I put one drop on my forehead, cheeks, and chin, and spread it all the way down to my neck. Gently patting it in really makes my skin super moisturized! If it's particularly dry, I'll do this step twice before applying my moisturizer. My skin is so dewy in the morning!!
