Among the moisturizing essences I've tried, (from brands like Laneige, Innisfree, etc.), this one ranked quite high in terms of controlling dehydration. (If I had to rate it on a scale of 1 to 10 in terms of effectiveness, I'd give it an 8 to 9). This is a moisturizing essence that doesn't feel heavy or slippery on the skin.

While I acknowledge that this is a high-performing product, I can't help but feel that the price is a bit too high. The inclusion of phenoxyethanol was also a major reason why I was hesitant to purchase this. (Even though it's a relatively minor ingredient, I prefer to avoid preservatives when there are many preservative-free moisturizing essences available these days).
