True to its name, Madecanol is wonderfully soft and moisturizing, like a soothing ointment. It has excellent spreadability and the right balance of oil and water that absorbs well into the skin. It's also rich in ingredients that strengthen the skin barrier, making the skin thicker and more resilient to external stressors. Additionally, it contains beneficial components for scars and wounds, which have improved my skin texture. Exceeding my expectations in terms of spreadability, moisturization, and more, this is a wonderful product to use during the winter. The gentle formula is also very pleasing.

[Texture] The texture is very spreadable - even a pea-sized amount is enough to cover the entire face. It glides on smoothly and feels slippery, just like applying sunscreen for the first time. After some time, the oily feeling subsides and it doesn't feel heavy or stuffy anymore. [Effects] It leaves the skin feeling soft and supple, like after using a sleeping pack. The redness is also reduced, likely due to the centella asiatica. The sebum production is also less noticeable. If there are any emerging blemishes, applying this cream along with a tea tree spot patch can help flatten them by the next day. In the morning, the skin doesn't feel dry or cakey after makeup application. It's great for just applying generously without any issues.

I really love this product. My acne-prone, sebum-rich, and scarring-prone skin has been doing so well. My acne hardly appears anymore, and even when I get hormonal breakouts on my chin, this helps calm them down. I thought it would feel heavy and oily like the Cicacream, but I was surprised that it applied lightly. It's not as quickly absorbing as a lotion, but it has a moderate amount of oil, I suppose. The best part is the really fast soothing effect!!!! I was getting blemishes due to my period, but when I used it with the Missha spot gel, the blemishes calmed down right away the next day! I thought it would take a few days, but I didn't realize it would work so quickly. It's really great when you need to soothe your skin!
Cons
The amount is definitely a bit small :( I think it's worth the price, but it's still hard to apply generously.
Tip
Be sure to stock up when they have a 1+1 sale on all items!!! And when you use it with the spot gel, the blemishes really calm down fast!!

Smooth application. While the texture is slightly ointment-like, the absorption is remarkably high. It has good spreadability, decent absorption, and good moisturizing power~^~^ Just applying this in the morning before going to work and then putting on sunscreen is enough to get that honey-like glow...!
