Looking at the ingredient list, they've put in quite a few harmful substances, yet they're marketing it with an eco-friendly, high-end image when it's actually damaging to the skin.

After using it once, my whole face became red, itchy, swollen, and my skin peeled off, bled, and was completely turned inside out. I suffered tremendously. I had to spend hundreds on dermatologist visits, but my once-healthy skin never fully recovered and became extremely sensitive. I can now only use the mildest of dermatologist-recommended skincare products, and even 'gentle' sunscreens are too harsh for my skin.

I really hate anything slippery because I'm a complete intellectual type.
Although it's an essence, I use it as a toner substitute because I'm a complete watery type.
If the toner feels refreshing, it's dry, and if it's moisturizing, it feels slippery, which I dislike. But this one is refreshing and moisturizing.
If you buy it with additional 10ml and use various coupons, the price difference isn't that big compared to a regular toner.
I think I've used it for more than four bottles.

The price range is a bit high, so it's best to only purchase it during sales.

The water-based formula was great when cleansing, and I really enjoyed scooping it out and patting it onto my face!

Tip 1/ Use it as a mask
On days when your skin feels rough, even after cleansing, you still feel like there's some buildup, soak a cotton pad generously with this and lay it on your cheeks and forehead for about 5 minutes, like a mask. It helps with exfoliation and soothing.

Tip 2/ Get it a bit cheaper
You can purchase it in a set with the Radiance Serum on home shopping channels, or buy a 3-bottle set to get a better price

Personally, I really love this product, so if you're concerned about dullness, I'd recommend giving it a try

Given my age, I've tried a lot of first essences
The fermented ingredients in some products don't agree with me, and after using them a couple times, my closed comedones would flare up, which I had to reluctantly pass on to a friend...
But the Caudalie products are gentle, no irritation and no breakouts
It works well with the Caudalie essence I'm using, so I'll likely keep using it

Good point 4/ Brightening effect
Honestly, using this product alone just makes my skin nicely moisturized and non-irritating, like a typical first essence
But when I use it together with the Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum, the effects are amplified
I'm undergoing targeted cancer treatment, so my face has gotten quite dark, but after using this product and the Radiance Serum, people have commented that my face looks brighter

I've been using a spray nozzle that fits the product's opening, and it's been so convenient and great!
I recommend using this as a sheet mask in the hot summer - spritz it on intermittently throughout the day!

I wouldn't recommend this for dry skin types! For those with combination skin, this might be too drying to use alone in the middle of winter with just a moisturizer.

The watery texture allows for easy application with a cotton pad, and it absorbs well.

Sometimes on dry skin days, I soak a cotton pad with it and use it as a mask pack, and that really helps with recovery too^^

The lightweight formula also layers well with other products.
