The lingering scent is even more pleasing to me. It's sweet yet substantial.
ConsI wanted to buy the body lotion in this scent too, but it's a pity that the fragrance is different.

Although I enjoy perfumes, I don't often wear them in the summer, but this one seemed like it wouldn't be too overpowering. The scent is refreshingly crisp and slightly cool, yet subtle. Not only do I like the initial fragrance, but I particularly appreciate the lingering notes that blend beautifully with my own natural scent. This fragrance from my recent trip has left me with such a pleasant memory!
ConsThe only downside seems to be the price. Be sure to take advantage of the duty-free shop discount!

The vanilla note in the dry down is absolutely lovely.
ConsAfter buying many perfumes, I find this one to be a bit lightweight and lacking in depth.

Initially, there is a hint of citrus, but over time, the soft vanilla and woody notes gently emerge, making it a suitable daily fragrance that can be worn by anyone regardless of gender. The magnetic cap also makes it convenient to use.
ConsCompared to other niche perfume products, the fragrance longevity seems a bit lacking, which is a bit disappointing.
TipIf you apply it to the inner wrist and wash your hands frequently, the scent may disappear quickly. However, applying it to the opposite side of the wrist seems to make the fragrance last a bit longer.

When I first sprayed it, there was a subtle woody scent and a somewhat ambiguous aroma, which was a bit puzzling. But the lingering fragrance is fantastic! They say the lingering note is vanilla, but it's definitely not that cloying sweetness. It's sweet and warm, and you'll want to bury your nose in the spot where you sprayed it. I haven't tried a lot of perfumes, but this is the best one I've come across so far.
ConsI wish I could wear it all year round, but since it's a warm fragrance, it's a shame I can't use it in the summer.

The Gypsy Water has a gentle vanilla aroma that I really enjoy. It's perfect for wearing in the fall - the vanilla scent is not overly sweet, but has a complex profile. Initially, there are fresh notes of bergamot and lemon, followed by a cool, clean middle note of incense and pine. The dry down has a slightly spicy and subtly sweet quality, reminiscent of vanilla bean rather than vanilla ice cream. It's an ideal daily fragrance.
ConsThe fragrance doesn't last very long after initial application, so I carry a rollerball version with me when I'm out for an extended period. The longevity is still better than Jo Malone, so I've been using it as my everyday perfume lately.
TipSpraying it before leaving and using the rollerball around lunchtime seems to help it last longer. Since it's quite expensive in Korea, it's a good idea to purchase it during a trip to Europe or at duty-free shops.

The fragrance has a toned-down lemon and vanilla scent. More emphasis is placed on the vanilla, so it has a sweet fragrance. The lingering vanilla scent is really nice.
ConsSince it's a perfume, the initial alcohol scent is strong and irritates the nose, causing sneezing. This was also the case with Blanche... And one more thing, both Blanche and Gypsy Water have an artificial scent, which seems to irritate the nose. For reference, Black Safran didn't have the nose-irritating effect (so when buying Gypsy Water, I deliberated between Black Safran and Gypsy Water, and ended up buying Gypsy Water since it's one of the best-selling fragrances). Next time, I'll definitely buy Black Safran.
TipThe eau de toilette, which has a mild scent from the beginning, seems to have a gentle lingering scent that comes up early, but the longevity and diffusion power are too poor. The eau de parfum has a strong scent in the beginning, so I'm a little hesitant to use it daily... But Byredo seems to have well resolved the major concerns about fragrances. Overall, the fragrances feel light, so it's good to use daily. Although I was initially disappointed, after using it for a month, I find myself spraying Byredo more often than other fragrances. The best part is that it's comfortable and works well as a light daily fragrance! This is the characteristic of Byredo fragrances.
