I absolutely love it! This cream truly gives you that deep hydration feeling. It's perfect for those with oily skin. It didn't have any special features beyond moisturizing. I was a bit disappointed that it didn't offer any other benefits. - da********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 3, 2020
First off, it's incredibly hydrating and absorbs smoothly without feeling sticky. It's like a moisture explosion for your face. The scent is also pleasantly subtle. The only downside is that I find myself using it so much that the product seems to disappear quickly! I think it might be even better if you store it in a cool place before use. - ro*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 3, 2020
I'm a huge fan of the A-True brand, but this product is an exception. The only positives I can mention are its smooth application and how it leaves my skin feeling moisturized after use. The downside is that the ingredients aren't as good as I expected. Also, the scent can sometimes be off-putting, and it feels a bit inadequate for winter use. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 13, 2019
Perfect for summer use! It absorbs really well, leaving the skin feeling fresh and matte. Generous amount, pleasant scent, great ingredients... I can't find any faults with this product. - ci******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityNov 12, 2019
The gentle, hydrating cream formula feels fresh and moisturizing. It's packed with hydration, making it easy to apply with a cool, soothing sensation. The calming effect is great, especially when my skin feels heated or irritated. For my dry skin, it lacks enough richness. However, its high hydration content might be perfect for those with oily or combination dehydrated skin. I wish they'd remove the PEGs and fragrances though. To boost the nourishment, try mixing in a drop or two of facial oil when applying. - ha********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 3, 2019
Personally, I absolutely adored the fragrance. The application felt moisturizing yet lightweight, which I really appreciated. I had high hopes due to the lovely scent and how well it absorbs, but unfortunately, I kept getting small blemishes whenever I used this product alone. I bought it because I heard the ingredients were gentle, but I guess everyone's skin reacts differently. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 31, 2019
The price is reasonable. I loved the subtle floral scent. The ivory color was really appealing. I'm not a fan of the floral pattern on top, it looks a bit outdated. The cream tends to clump slightly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 2, 2019
The clean ingredients are top-notch. A-True is definitely a brand you can trust. I first received this product as a sample. It came in a tube, which I initially took on a trip for convenience, and boy did I stumble upon a holy grail! The texture is a perfect blend between an ointment and a moisturizer - a cream that's both opaque and translucent. It's truly a 50:50 feel. However, when you actually use it, it feels more watery. It absorbs well and is perfect for a light application. It's especially great for combination dehydrated skin like mine. I used to love the D brand vita* moisturizer, but this one has a similar feel with much better ingredients. There's minimal pilling, and it doesn't leave a sticky finish - which is fantastic. As a cat parent, overly sticky products make me itchy when I sleep! So that's another big plus. The price point isn't bad either, in my opinion. If I really had to nitpick... It might not be enough on its own to fully hydrate your skin. If you have combination dehydrated skin like me, or if you're on the dry side with extreme moisture loss, you might find it a bit lacking. (But don't worry, I've discovered an amazing tip to make it super hydrating - I'll share it in the additional comments!) Also, after using the tube version, I found the jar version a bit less hygienic. If they released a full-size tube version, I'd be ready to hand over my wallet to A-True! The secret is all in the combination! When using this product, I had samples of Medi**'s red line toner and serum. These products didn't provide much hydration on their own, but when I layered them thinly with this cream - wow! The glow was incredible! It was just a thin layer, but my skin felt as plump as if I'd applied five layers of moisturizer. And because it was a light application, there was no pilling when I applied makeup. Even if you don't use these exact products, if you find the hydration a bit lacking, try layering it with a serum you have on hand. In my opinion, the true value of this product lies in its chemistry with other skincare items! - ch********Combination SkinDark CirclesJun 2, 2019
I received this moisturizer as a sample when I purchased the cleansing oil! It's a decent hydrating cream with a comfortable feel. I had high hopes for this product since I was satisfied with the cleansing oil, but the ingredients weren't as good as I expected. When I used this alone, I developed blemishes and my skin condition worsened. It doesn't seem to suit my skin type. While the texture is okay, there are many other products out there with better ingredients and application. I don't think there's a compelling reason to choose this one over others. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 29, 2019
Among the few gel creams I've tried, this one is the most satisfying. It's lightweight yet provides long-lasting hydration. If this is due to the PEG that I usually dislike, I have no complaints. It would be perfect if they removed the PEG and fragrance. The scent isn't strong, more subtle, but I'd prefer it without any fragrance at all.
