The color payoff is so much better than when I swatched it in the store. The color is so rich, like a deep reddish-purple, reddish-brown, and muted pink all in one shadow. The Innisfree shimmer shadows had a lighter color payoff and a lot of fallout and creasing, but the matte shadows are really nice. I have a fair skin tone, and using a darker shadow as an eyeliner and blending it out gives a nice, soft look. Mixing a lighter shade underneath and in the crease also works well. I wanted a cohesive rose-brown look, so I used the same shadow to fill in my brow tails and lower lash line, and it turned out so pretty! This muted red-toned makeup looks so clean and polished. I'm surprised that I can use just one shadow for my entire eye look - it's really versatile.

Innisfree seems to be really good at making eyeshadows. The texture is fine and it doesn't clump. In reality, it may look a bit light, but if you use it as a base eyeshadow, it feels like you need to do a more intense makeup look. When I do my makeup, I usually use Etude House's Cafe Latte Milk as a base eyeshadow, so that might be the reason. Personally, I think it's nice to use this light eyeshadow as a base and then use it to add shading on the front of the eyes and the corners. It's a real daily essential that should always be in your makeup pouch.
