The texture is incredibly watery and flows easily. It looks like it wouldn't lather well, but surprisingly, it creates a great foam. The lather is impressive! However, it's not thick, so it tends to slip through your fingers. The scent is strongly minty, which would be perfect for those who don't like overpowering fragrances. It's so watery that a lot of it spills, and there's a slightly slippery feeling left on the skin after rinsing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinOct 7, 2024
As someone who places a lot of importance on shampoo fragrance, I was pleased that this one has a slightly sweet scent rather than an artificial, overpowering smell. It lathers well, and after washing, it eliminates oily residue and dandruff, leaving no odor on the scalp. However, my scalp feels irritated after washing. I can't agree that it's gentle as claimed. Perhaps because I have an oily scalp and used it in summer, the effects last about 16 hours. There's a slippery residue left on the hair, requiring a long rinse - not ideal for busy mornings. It also leaves hair feeling stiff. This seems to be a limitation of a product focused on dandruff and scalp care. I ended up giving it to my dad after using it for a while, but he doesn't use it much either... - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinApr 19, 2024
I bought this for my son who's in the midst of puberty. As a test, I used it myself for two days without washing my hair. No need for double shampooing, and even a small amount produces a ton of lather. You immediately feel that squeaky clean sensation. Now I understand why it's so effective for sebum control. The price is quite steep, so I stock up during sales. I suppose the high cost is justified by its effectiveness, but I wish they'd offer deeper discounts even during sales. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSep 14, 2022
• Refreshing cooling effect • Water-based formula, produces a lot of lather • Pleasant scent • Can't really tell if it helps with hair loss • Hair gets flat by evening • Can be irritating on days when skin is sensitive Would repurchase. It might be good to alternate with other shampoos. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 20, 2021
The cleansing effectiveness is great and it lathers up well. It's pretty good overall. I'm not too sure about the shampoo, but it seems decent. I'm not really sure. It just seems okay, I guess, haha! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJun 9, 2020
It lathers well and seems quite decent. There's absolutely no tightness after use. The slippery feeling doesn't go away, making me unsure if I've rinsed it off completely. - Hwahae UserOily SkinMar 3, 2020
It has a mild scent and feels gentle on the skin. The texture is light and lathers well. Being an all-in-one product, it leaves a somewhat slippery feeling. Even after rinsing, there's a lingering sense of unease. I usually don't use conditioner, so that might be why. If you're looking for a clean, fresh feeling, you might want to pass on this one. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinJan 2, 2020
The cleansing effectiveness is excellent, and it lathers up nicely, making it easy to use Given the current political climate, using a Japanese product makes me feel a bit self-conscious - Hwahae UserOily SkinDec 7, 2019
This product has a powerful cooling effect and lathers up nicely. The foam rinses off easily without requiring multiple washes. The formula is completely liquid, so it tends to drip after squeezing it out. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 26, 2019
It's so convenient to have one product that works as both shampoo and conditioner. I started using this because my partner does, and I love the mild mint scent that gives a nice cooling effect. Despite its water-like consistency, it lathers up well. Unlike most 2-in-1 products where the conditioning effect is subpar, this one does a decent job at preventing static. While it's not as moisturizing as using a separate conditioner, it leaves your hair softer than just shampooing alone. However, if you have permed hair or need styling, you might still need to use a separate treatment. This seems perfect for those with straight hair, low-maintenance styles, or relatively healthy hair who want to quickly wash and go. The price is the main drawback. If you typically buy shampoo, conditioner, and treatment separately, this product could be cost-effective as it replaces two of those. However, that's only if this is all you need. While it's good for static control, it's not ideal if you're looking for shine or improved hair texture. After trying it, you'll understand why it's the top-selling men's shampoo. It's practical but basic. This seems great for travel. If you're already planning to pack travel-sized hair products, just bring this along and you've got your shampoo and conditioner sorted in one bottle.
