I've been using this for two months now. People have been telling me my skin looks brighter. It's in powder form, so I was initially unsure how to use it, but once I figured out the method, it's incredibly convenient! Among Isoi products, this one has a longer shelf life. When I apply it before bed, I wake up with soft, radiant skin in the morning. As others have mentioned, it can cause irritation. If it touches any cuts or sensitive areas, it stings. Even for someone like me who isn't very sensitive, I can feel the tingling - so those with sensitive skin might find it quite uncomfortable. If you don't get the amount right, it can feel very sticky. I mix it with my cream. When I want a light application before bed, I use it with a hydrating cream. When my skin looks a bit wrinkled, I mix it with the eye cream I got as a gift with a compact (which I don't use separately). Tap the powder three to four times and mix it in - it dissolves well. Apply when the cream becomes thinner and the powder is fully dissolved. Be careful not to use too much or mix insufficiently, as you might feel the powder rubbing on your face. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 19, 2019
Second bottle! Skin type: I have super sensitive + extremely dry skin with a fair complexion and some visible dark spots, freckles, and blemishes. Application: I mix a few shakes of this product with my regular essence (works best with slightly runny essences, propolis gel, or aloe gel). The key is not so much the amount of vitamin powder, but how well you dissolve it. When mixed properly, it applies smoothly. Absorption: I only use it at night. Absorption varies slightly depending on the essence I mix it with, but even after applying two layers of cream afterwards, it doesn't feel heavy (keep in mind I have very dry skin). Hydration: As someone with dark spots and freckles, I'm always interested in vitamin and brightening products. Water-soluble vitamins can be tricky to use due to oxidation, so I was excited to try this powder form of Vitamin C from Isol, a brand I already love. It exceeded my expectations in improving overall skin tone and condition. Since I mixed it with a hydrating essence rather than a functional one, the moisturizing effect was also good. Overall: After using it consistently every night for about 2 weeks, people around me commented that my skin looked clearer. I could see the difference myself and have recommended it to so many people. I even bought it for my mother, and about 9 out of 10 people who've tried it are satisfied. I'm surprised by the low rating here. For me, it's a holy grail product. Considering the price and effectiveness, it's an excellent product from Isol, though results may vary depending on skin type. I hope Isol products become well-known enough that none get discontinued, but at the same time, I hope they don't become so famous that they start to change or raise prices. I have mixed feelings! Wishing Isol's owner great success! There are no downsides. You might be surprised when it arrives - it's so tiny! But it lasts forever! Occasionally, I'll use a generous amount of the vitamin powder under a modeling mask, and my face just glows afterwards! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 19, 2019
I bought vitamin C powder because water-soluble vitamin C is unstable and inconvenient to use. I mix the powder with other types of skincare products. Since vitamin C is acidic, I often apply it at night when I need a medium-strength peel. I've seen improvements in redness and skin texture. As mentioned earlier, being an acid, it's also effective for blemishes, so I mainly use it as a spot treatment, but occasionally I use this product as a supplementary spot treatment as well. I use it during the day before applying sunscreen to enhance its effectiveness, but if I fail to control the amount, it pills. So before applying makeup, I only use a small amount, but I'm not sure if such a small quantity can provide the full benefits of vitamin C. I'm considering buying a separate product with vitamin C derivatives for daytime use. - ol******Normal SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 31, 2019
The convenience of being able to mix it with anything is great. I can't say my skin has improved dramatically yet, but I'm looking forward to experimenting properly with the full-size product after trying this sample. I'll need to use it more to really tell. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it so far. - an*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 18, 2019
At first, I wasn't sure how to control the amount, so I tapped it twice. That didn't seem to suit my skin, so later I just tapped once and blended it well. After using it a few times, I noticed my complexion becoming brighter! I had hoped it would help quickly regenerate some scar tissue because of the vitamin C, but it didn't seem very effective for that... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinNov 22, 2018
The generous amount of powdered vitamin C makes it easy to incorporate this typically unstable ingredient into your skincare routine Even though it doesn't need to last forever, after about two weeks it tends to harden, making it difficult to dispense - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 13, 2018
I apply the Vitamin C powder every other evening. The next day, my complexion looks noticeably brighter. I'm currently mixing it with the Isol Tiger Ampoule, and it seems to be working well for me. Since I have super sensitive skin, I need to thoroughly mix the powder with an ampoule before applying to minimize tingling. Try mixing with Isol Tiger Ampoule for best results - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 11, 2018
I'm mixing this with Isol Propolis Soothing Solution. As you can see in the photo, when you mix in the powder, it becomes much thinner than the original formula. I was a bit scared to mix it with something as fluid as a skin or toner, fearing it might spill everywhere. While they say it's not great to mix liquid vitamin C products, I have a feeling this powder form might be better. After applying, there's a sense that the skin texture tightens, becoming firm and supple. It does leave a slightly dry feeling, so you need to follow up with another moisturizer right away for hydration. It seems to have an immediate effect on skin texture, but for improvements in blemishes and uneven skin tone, I think I'll need to use it consistently for a longer period. Overall, Isol really needs to improve their packaging. It's hard to tell how much product comes out at once, and I suspect it might start sticking around the opening later on. But given the incredibly reasonable price, I'll let it slide! Make sure to buy it during the buy-one-get-one-free promotion! It pairs really well with the Propolis Soothing Solution! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 24, 2018
As someone with acne-prone skin, I apply the Tiger Powder + Tiger Ampoule after my toner! Then I mix the moisturizer with the Vita Powder and apply it. I'm not sure if it's just my imagination, but I notice my face looking brighter and more radiant in the morning! It stings a little bit... but it's tolerable! Also, I'm not quite sure how much to use - it's tricky to get the right amount. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 15, 2018
Mixing this with a soothing product makes my skin feel hydrated and plump. It calms my skin wonderfully and even helps fade acne scars. It's absolutely fantastic! If you don't mix it properly, it can clump up. Make sure to blend it well to avoid any clumping. It can feel a bit sticky and heavy.
