It applies thinly, with less creasing and clumping, and blends quite well. For a lipstick, it's good value for money. The staying power is decent too, lasting a fair while unless you're eating. The color is absolutely gorgeous, and since it's a stick, it's easy to cleanse off. Because it applies thinly, you need to apply a decent amount for proper blending. There's some transfer, which is expected, but it's a bit disappointing since many products these days have less of that. The twist-up mechanism doesn't retract, so once you push it up, you can't go back. - ba*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 16, 2017
As a new product I received as a gift, I've been using it wonderfully for about two weeks. It's a deep red that gives off both a brick-like and burgundy vibe - maybe even reminiscent of dark blood color? While lip color payoff varies from person to person, as a burgundy lover, I'm absolutely smitten with how it looks on me. It applies with a velvety finish, minimizing transfer. The staying power is decent too. Though not completely matte, it's best to exfoliate before application. Ingredient-wise, apart from two colorants, there are no concerning components. Given my dry and sensitive lips, the minimal use of potentially irritating ingredients makes this a go-to product for me. A common drawback with the Button Lips series is the push-button design, which can lead to accidental dispensing. Also, it's impossible to gauge how much product is left. On the bright side, the color indicator on the exterior is a nice touch. It looks absolutely gorgeous when you layer it over a lighter shade for a gradient effect. That's typically how I prefer to wear it!
