I loved that I could soothe my skin and manage my pores at the same time. The best part was that I didn't get any blemishes while using this product. There's nothing I disliked about it. I think I've gone through about three bottles of this product. The scent is nice too, and I've been using it consistently for quite a while. - ka**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 12, 2022
I loved how easy it was to apply, reapply, and control the amount! It felt great as it seemed to smooth out dead skin cells and excess oil. Perfect for a light mask to refine the skin! I think it's most suitable for combination dehydrated or oily skin types. I'd recommend it to anyone who doesn't have super sensitive skin! The texture is soft, like a mud mask, and doesn't drip when applying or after application. It also has tiny particles! The color is green like Shrek's mask, somewhere between lime and forest green. It was a bit disappointing that my skin felt tight after about 15 minutes! I wouldn't recommend it for those with very dry skin. It also irritated my skin when it was sensitive, so I'd suggest using it when your skin is a bit calmer! Lastly, it's a shame that it gets stuck under your nails when applying it to your skin. Applying a slightly thicker layer can reduce the tightening effect over time and make it feel more moisturizing. When washing it off, gently rolling and massaging it slowly gave better results! After cleansing, since I have combination dehydrated skin, I applied a light layer of toner to replenish moisture, followed by serum and a water-based gel moisturizer (without any oiliness!). If your skin isn't particularly dry, I'd recommend just using a bit of toner (pat it in gently with your hands!) followed by a hydrating moisturizer. - 20******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessMay 14, 2021
I really like the feeling that it's made with gentle ingredients. However, if you don't store it properly, it hardens quickly. It becomes unmanageably stiff. - du*****Combination SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsMar 13, 2021
The mask is incredibly gentle, making it so easy to apply! It absorbs beautifully. While the scent isn't unpleasant, it's overwhelmingly strong (feels like washing your face with perfume). It gives me that tight, stuffy feeling, similar to when I use products with acids, making my upper lip area feel sweaty (turns out it does contain acids, but which ones? I wish I had checked The Hwahae Testers first; I probably wouldn't have bought it). I was expecting a wash-off mask that removes excess oil like the Shrek mask, but this feels more hydrating. After using it, I don't notice any effects at all. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 6, 2020
After using it as a mask, my skin feels incredibly soft. It also contains exfoliating beads for added benefit. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it, but having to use a spoon to scoop it out is a bit inconvenient. It would be even better if it came in a tube format. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 19, 2020
Here's my review after using almost an entire jar, applying it about once a week. First off, it spreads smoothly and easily. You can adjust the thickness as desired, though I tend to apply it more generously than others - really packing it on! The fragrance is lovely. Although it's a wash-off type and I don't usually pay much attention to scents, this one is so pleasant it gives me a bit of a mood boost. It's like, 'Ah, I'm pampering myself right now!' I leave it on for 10-15 minutes before rinsing, and immediately notice a brightening effect. My complexion looks more radiant overall, without any dryness. I bought this online during a sale when I was craving a clay mask, and I'd definitely repurchase. Despite its small appearance, it lasts quite a while. I find it rinses off fairly easily for a clay mask. Given its texture, isn't a longer cleansing time unavoidable with clay masks? The texture is soft and light. When I use this to brighten up in the morning, followed by a sheet mask and my skincare routine, my skin looks great all day. With constant mask-wearing these days, I've been worried about blemishes and dryness. This mask leaves my skin glowing and hydrated, so I'm planning to buy it again soon. It contains granules that are quite firm, so you need to apply it gently. They don't seem to dissolve, which is one downside. I also think the opening could be wider for more thorough use without leaving residue. While the current size is usable, considering family use, it would be great if they offered a larger package option. I feel my face becomes even cleaner when I use this mask after pore cleansing. Try finding your own best method of use. - ki*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 22, 2020
It helps with exfoliating dead skin cells while being surprisingly gentle on the skin! I'm not sure if it's because my face is large or if I'm using it too often, but the amount doesn't seem to be particularly generous. Seems best suited for short-term use - gr********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedAug 20, 2020
Love it! I usually avoid clay masks because they're such a hassle to remove, but this one's a game-changer. It works wonders. Definitely planning to buy the full-size product. It seems to take an unusually long time to dry. I'll forgive it though, since the results are so good. Here's a tip: After showering, pat your face dry, apply the mask, then brush your teeth or do something else while it sets. Perfect timing! - be***Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinJul 9, 2020
As someone with sensitive skin prone to redness and swelling when I use the wrong products or get overheated, and blemishes that pop up easily, I have combination skin that's neither extremely dry nor oily. I use this mask about once every two weeks. After removing it, I notice whiteheads coming to the surface (they're not disappearing, just becoming more visible in the pores - I avoid squeezing to prevent irritation). At this point, I follow up with a cleansing oil massage to effectively eliminate both blackheads and whiteheads. Unlike the Innisfree volcanic clay mask, this one doesn't dry even after 10 minutes. Post-rinse, it leaves an odd powdery residue that feels unclean and uncomfortable. I also experience a slight tingling sensation before the 10-minute mark, prompting me to wash it off quickly. After rinsing, my face looks somewhat flushed, making me think I should reduce the application time, maybe to 5 minutes? Applying it just to the nose, under the chin, and between the eyebrows seems sufficient. - ny*****Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJun 24, 2020
☆ For combination dehydrated skin with blemishes and large pores ☆ In summer, my skin develops oily bumps on the chin, between eyebrows, and around the mouth. With large pores, I need to constantly manage sebum. I was hesitant to use peeling products as they might irritate my skin, so I decided to try a wash-off mask. This product seems sufficient for my skincare routine! ♡ What I loved ♡ 1. Smooth application 2. The Houttuynia Cordata extract is great for pore cleansing, especially for those who respond well to it. 3. After 10 minutes, it's still moist and easy to rinse off without drying. 4. Post-use, my T-zone looked cleaner and sebum reduced on my chin. 5. Brighter, clearer complexion While it won't instantly change your skin tone, the improvement in clarity is noticeable. 6. I appreciate the gentle ingredients, worthy of Hwahae Testers' recommendation. It's a shame it doesn't come with a spatula... That's the only downside I can think of.
