I've been using this product exclusively and am on my sixth bottle. Even after cleansing, my face doesn't feel taut immediately. When my sister came to visit and left her Senka Perfect Whip behind, I tried it out for a few days, but my face felt so uncomfortable that I switched back. At first, I felt like the product wasn't rinsing off completely (there was a lingering oily feeling), but I realized that by using a toner-soaked cotton pad to wipe my face after cleansing, any residue is removed. I now understand that the smooth, soft finish is not from leftover cleansing agents, but rather from how well it rinses off. I liked it so much that I even passed my sister's bottle on to her and told her to use this instead. There are reviews saying it doesn't remove makeup well, but since I also use the Acure cleansing cream, I don't have that issue. I figure double cleansing is necessary for makeup anyway, and using these two products together works great - no leftover makeup on the cotton pad when I tone. I don't usually wear a lot of makeup, so this is pretty much my go-to cleanser.

As I mentioned, at first there was a lingering oily feeling, like it wasn't rinsing off completely. That was partly my own fault for not using it properly at first. The product quantity is also not very large, and since I buy it in bulk from iHerb, I end up using it for a long time (which is a bit of a downside). I haven't even tried the reformulated version yet, though I did stock up on that as well. The most frustrating thing is actually the packaging of the Acure products - the lids tend to leak, making a mess. I have to wipe down the lids regularly. I wish the packaging was better, even though I try to overlook it to save money.

It's important to scoop out a small amount, work it into a lather, and then use that foam to cleanse your face. At first, I just rubbed it directly on my face without thinking, and didn't feel like it was cleaning well. But using it the proper way, with the foam, makes a big difference.

It's moisturizing and soft after cleansing. The ingredients seem good and it's likely low-irritation. It seems good for acne-prone skin.

The foam tends to climb up the forehead area. It feels like the foam is being pushed up into the head rather than being thoroughly rinsed off. The scent is like cheap dish detergent.
