With a solid skincare base and a good powder finish, it stays put even until the next day! For such a thin application, the coverage is surprisingly good. Without proper skincare and powder, it all comes off. The nose bridge area in particular needs extra attention, or the foundation will peel off immediately after application. I bought this because it matches my skin tone perfectly. The color is beautiful, and I really like it. It's a safe choice. As I have dry skin, it tends to look a bit patchy. You need to have a solid skincare routine and use a rich base product underneath. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 23, 2019
It applies smoothly and feels lightweight on the skin. It seems to effectively neutralize yellow undertones. It tends to emphasize dead skin cells quite noticeably. On days when my skin isn't at its best, it really accentuates texture. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAug 8, 2019
The makeup doesn't feel like it's floating on the skin. It's not that the oil dissolves the makeup, but rather it seems to rise slightly over the foundation. If oil appears, you can easily touch up by gently wiping with a puff, hand, or tissue, then patting again for a perfect finish. It doesn't run even when you sweat. It's often on sale more frequently than the Powdery Skin Maker. It's like a budget-friendly version of Guerlain foundation. The coverage is quite sheer. It can settle into lines. It tends to gather around the sides of the nose and can look patchy, even though it's not drying. The value for money is somewhat lacking. While the ads might suggest a glowy finish, it's actually more semi-matte. It feels moisturizing underneath while the surface remains smooth without being overly dewy. Since it doesn't offer full coverage, it might be best to use with a concealer. The tone doesn't lean particularly yellow or pink - it's just plain white. Applying with a brush seemed to give the most beautiful finish. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 29, 2019
The main and only reason I use this product is because of its color. My skin tone is between 13-17, and I couldn't find anything else as bright and easy to mix with other products. The formula is thin, so it doesn't feel heavy. It might work well for those without blemishes, but for me, it wasn't enough on its own to cover my skin concerns. The adherence and coverage are... well... disappointing. When applied with a foundation brush, it tends to leave brush marks and doesn't really feel like it's bonding with the skin. Since I have fair skin, I mix this product with others. Blending it with readily available shade 21 products that have decent coverage allows me to match my complexion. It's still usable this way! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 6, 2019
It's hydrating and doesn't cause blemishes. I'd recommend this to anyone who prefers a dewy finish over high coverage. The adherence isn't great. Even though I'm using an expensive puff, it all rubs off no matter how much I pat it on. It also leaves a bit of a white cast. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 2, 2019
Color: As someone with a medium skin tone between shades 13 and 11, I found the White Snow shade to be truly white as the name suggests. It's a clear ivory color without any pink or yellow undertones, which I really liked! I think the color is well-formulated to suit various skin tones. For those with fair complexions like mine, it can be challenging to find light shades and clean ivory tones. I highly recommend trying Kate's White Snow shade if you're in that boat! Adhesion: The adhesion is excellent. It feels like it's melting right into your skin. Texture: I have dry skin, and while it might be a bit too drying to use alone in fall and winter, it's perfect for summer. Just set the outer parts of your face with some powder. Coverage: The coverage is right in the middle. For a light-colored foundation, it's actually quite good. Ingredients: When I use this foundation exclusively, I tend to get a pimple or two. It's a shame because I love the color and still use it in summer, but it's disappointing. Dryness: I bought this without testing it because the Olive Young staff said it was released as a moisturizing formula for dry skin, but... huh? It's dry. Very dry! On my skin, it feels completely matte! Emphasizes Flakiness: If there's even a little bit of dead skin around the nose or any flaky areas, it really emphasizes it... quite severely. I think it's because the texture adheres so closely to the skin. Staying Power: The staying power is terrible. I wanted to check for darkening, but it only lasts about 3 hours so I couldn't even test that. Maybe it's because I apply it with a damp sponge due to my dry skin? For those with dry skin, if you don't prep your skin properly in fall and winter, this foundation will definitely emphasize flakiness. Especially around the nose area! Make sure to have a solid skincare routine as a base. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinDec 30, 2018
It brightens your skin so naturally, as if it's your own complexion. It really makes your skin look fair and radiant, like you were born with it. The staying power isn't great. After a few hours, it starts to separate and become noticeable. It's perfect to apply right before going out if you're only meeting someone briefly. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 6, 2018
It evens out my skin tone naturally, absorbs well, and provides decent coverage. After trying various foundations at the store, I chose this one because it adhered best to my skin and complemented my complexion perfectly. I've been recommending it to everyone around me. It's truly fantastic! You absolutely need to apply a solid base skincare routine before using this, as it can slightly settle into creases or appear patchy around the nose area! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 17, 2018
During winter, my makeup didn't flake and the coverage was excellent. The foundation had a rich texture, perfect for the cold season. I could even reapply it in winter without issues. In summer, the makeup tends to separate due to oil and sweat, and you can clearly see the foundation settling into pores. I wouldn't dare to reapply it in summer.
