It applies thinly and evenly! The shade matches my skin tone perfectly! Unfortunately, more foundation transfers onto my mask than I expected - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 12, 2021
My complexion tends to be on the darker side, making my face look a bit dull, but this foam really improves my skin tone It transfers onto masks easily... Even after it dries, it still rubs off... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 8, 2019
First off, I'm a teenager with super sensitive skin (I have atopic dermatitis and severe allergies). I usually use foundation in shades 24-25 (for reference, Luna's 23 shade looks too white on me). I have combination dehydrated skin and have been a foundation nomad, but it seems I can't switch from this Kate foundation even if I wanted to. However, I'm starting to think it's time for a change (being a Japanese product, it does concern me a bit). There's minimal darkening (there's a tiny bit, but it's hardly noticeable), it's moisturizing, and I love how beautifully it wears off. It has good coverage, applies thinly, giving you a really natural look. If you have fair skin, you could even use it as a contour when taking ID photos - my friend did this and it looked gorgeous. Since it's not a cushion, it's not very portable. Also, if you don't set it with powder, it can transfer. It's not severe, but it's definitely better to always set it with powder. I use Etude's Soon Jung line, and I find mixing the foundation with the emulsion gives a lovely dewy finish. This makes it apply much thinner, which is great for wearing at school. While the original tone isn't extremely natural, mixing it with the emulsion can make it look just like your natural complexion.
