A rare shade 24 foundation in Korea. It applies quite smoothly. The darkening effect and longevity are a bit disappointing... It's quite matte, making touch-ups difficult, and the coverage is not that impressive. The formula is thin, so using a foundation spatula works well. - bl**********Combination SkinRecommendedMay 13, 2022
If I've used over 4 bottles for about 4 consecutive years, that says it all! I have combination skin with severe pores and extremely oily T-zone. I can't use powdery types as they accentuate dead skin cells, and most foundations, cushions, or BB creams don't work due to oiliness and deep dryness. I've tried countless products, but nothing matches this one for me. First off, it absorbs exceptionally well, adhering to the skin seamlessly without looking obvious (which is crucial as poor-quality foundation application really shows on problematic skin). It seems to provide good hydration too. The shade is darker than most other brands, making it perfect for a natural look on its own, or you can mix it with lighter shades if needed. There are no downsides. It's my holy grail foundation. Wanting stronger coverage from such a beautifully absorbing formula would be asking for too much! Applying with hands seems to give better coverage than using a sponge, if that's what you're after. Shade 4 is quite dark - it looks natural on darker skin tones like mine, but if you want a brighter look, use this as a base and highlight the cheeks (butterfly zone near the nose), forehead, and don't forget the bridge of the nose with a shade lighter. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 16, 2021
Absorbs incredibly well. Feels like it's perfectly suited for typical male skin. There's a slight feeling of dryness. Nevertheless, it's still far superior to products marketed specifically for men. - ch*******Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 17, 2021
It applies thinly and evenly! The shade matches my skin tone perfectly! Unfortunately, more foundation transfers onto my mask than I expected - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 12, 2021
My complexion tends to be on the darker side, making my face look a bit dull, but this foam really improves my skin tone It transfers onto masks easily... Even after it dries, it still rubs off... - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 23, 2020
This foundation is perfect for men's skin, blending seamlessly without feeling out of place. When you first apply it, the texture is slightly fluid, spreading easily. The final finish is beautifully matte, which I really appreciate. Well, it's a bit on the pricey side. Also, it doesn't completely cover blemishes. Compared to other foundations, its coverage is somewhat lighter. - as*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 18, 2020
Ideal for those with a slightly darker complexion than shade 23 (traditional 23 can sometimes appear too white or bright, resulting in a grayish cast). If you're looking for an exact match to your skin tone, this gives a 'your skin but better' look - so natural, it's like you're wearing nothing at all. The slightly powdery finish is great for combination skin types. (For dry skin, I'd recommend using a damp beauty sponge. For oily skin, a light dusting of powder on top might be beneficial.) The staying power is pretty impressive. I've worked around charcoal grills, and while it wasn't perfect, it didn't completely break down. For everyday wear, it holds up well. Setting with powder extends the wear time even more. It applies smoothly, beautifully enhancing skin texture. While the coverage isn't extremely high, it's certainly not lacking. The pump packaging makes it easy to use. While the pump is convenient, it can be a bit tricky to control the amount dispensed. The cap tends to get a little messy when closing. If your skin leans towards the drier side, try applying with a damp beauty sponge. For extended wear, setting with powder is recommended. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 7, 2020
I've lost count of how many bottles I've gone through of the Powdery Skin Maker Healthy Ten Color. No matter how many other foundations I try, I always come back to this one. The color is beautiful, it fades gracefully, and the staying power is insane. It's so good that I want to stockpile it - it's truly my holy grail. When I'm out, I never need to touch up, and I absolutely can't go without it in summer. The only downside is that it's a Japanese product. I'd like to boycott Japanese goods, but I simply can't bring myself to stop buying this one. - tj**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 11, 2019
This is a holy grail product! I've never repurchased the same foundation before, but I immediately bought another one after finishing this because it's so amazing. My complexion is quite dark, so it's really hard to find shade 24. Other brands' shade 24 tends to be too light for me. However, this one is just the perfect shade 24 (for my skin tone). It barely breaks down, maintaining that fresh, matte finish from morning to evening! Especially a few seconds after application, it keeps a moisturized yet matte feel, providing perfect coverage without creasing or becoming oily. There were hardly any downsides. If I had to pick one, I'd say that because it's a matte type, it can settle into fine lines, accentuating their appearance. When that happens, I gently pat and blend to smooth out the texture again! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedSep 8, 2019
First off, I'm a teenager with super sensitive skin (I have atopic dermatitis and severe allergies). I usually use foundation in shades 24-25 (for reference, Luna's 23 shade looks too white on me). I have combination dehydrated skin and have been a foundation nomad, but it seems I can't switch from this Kate foundation even if I wanted to. However, I'm starting to think it's time for a change (being a Japanese product, it does concern me a bit). There's minimal darkening (there's a tiny bit, but it's hardly noticeable), it's moisturizing, and I love how beautifully it wears off. It has good coverage, applies thinly, giving you a really natural look. If you have fair skin, you could even use it as a contour when taking ID photos - my friend did this and it looked gorgeous. Since it's not a cushion, it's not very portable. Also, if you don't set it with powder, it can transfer. It's not severe, but it's definitely better to always set it with powder. I use Etude's Soon Jung line, and I find mixing the foundation with the emulsion gives a lovely dewy finish. This makes it apply much thinner, which is great for wearing at school. While the original tone isn't extremely natural, mixing it with the emulsion can make it look just like your natural complexion.
