I actually used shade 7, but since it's not listed here, I'm writing this review. I bought it when it was released as a holiday limited edition, and the coral pink color was really pretty. It applies like a fluffy whipped cream but sets to a velvety finish. Unlike other products with similar textures that sometimes feel like they're sitting on top of my lips, this one doesn't, which I really appreciate. Despite its powdery finish, I was surprised by how long-lasting the stain was - it stayed on much longer than I expected! I'm not sure if it's just me or if it's because of the velvety finish, but while it applies beautifully at first, when I try to reapply, it tends to pill and look patchy on my lips. I'm not quite sure how to explain it, but I ended up only applying this product in the morning and using a different one for touch-ups later in the day. I basically limited myself to using it just once a day!

Everyone's opinions may differ, so keep that in mind. The color is beautiful without emphasizing dead skin cells. If you're a fan of coral shades, I think everyone will love this. The application is smooth, almost like a lip gloss, which is really nice. I also like the tip of the applicator. The glass container is great because you can see how much product is left. The scent is lovely too! It's not quite as matte as I'd expect from something called a matte lip product. I didn't buy this myself, it was a gift. If I had to point out the positives, the brush is incredibly soft, so it applies well. Also, it's easy to control the amount you use... The staying power and scent are both disappointing, and I'm not a fan of the color either... Even though it's from a relatively well-known brand, I tried to stick with it, but it was so unsatisfactory that I threw it away after using less than half. Even after applying two or three layers, the color has an odd purple tinge... The staying power is also poor... Sigh. It's definitely not a product I'd spend my own money on.

The staying power is fantastic, and the color payoff is true to what you see in the tube. Being matte, it tends to clump up like a mud mask on the inner part of the lips when you drink something or move your mouth even slightly. However, you can overcome this by figuring out the right application technique. Don't apply it by rubbing your lips together. I bought this in burgundy since I have a warm autumn complexion with a slightly yellow undertone. After using this lip product, I've received many compliments on how radiant my face looks. The staying power is truly top-notch... I have to admit. It doesn't come off easily, and even if I apply it once in the morning and once at lunchtime, it may fade a bit but doesn't completely disappear. I've tried many high-end brands like Chanel, MAC, Dior, and others, but this one is my favorite by far! Plus, the packaging is absolutely adorable. The lip product tends to leak around the cap... I originally planned to buy a lip tint, but after the staff applied this for me, I fell in love and bought it! I'm completely satisfied. ▫️Longevity It's amazing! It doesn't come off even when eating spicy rice cakes, and it lasts so well you don't need to reapply. ▫️No emphasis on dead skin cells. My lips don't typically have a lot of flaking, but this doesn't create any at all! ▫️It applies thinly and has a matte finish, but it's not overly drying. The case is glass, so it's a bit heavy. But it's okay because it's pretty.... The color payoff is really good and the shade is intense, so you need to apply it carefully. I dab it in the center of my lips and gently spread it with a cotton swab or my finger. I received this as a gift and the case is really beautiful. It's also easy to apply. The texture glides on smoothly without any stickiness. It's called a matte fluid, but I'm not sure about that... It doesn't seem very portable. The staying power and color payoff were just average for me. Unless you're buying it solely for the Dior brand name, I think there are many other products at this price point with similar longevity and pigmentation.

Even though the brush is a bit stubby, it's easy to control the amount. When applied heavily, it looks like a fluorescent pink, but when lightly applied over a brightening moisturizer, it looks like my natural lip color. The matte texture in the finish isn't as pronounced as I expected. The scent is also a bit strong... In the photo, from left to right: Hera Maximum Red, Dior Marble, Ruby Woo, and Shu Uemura Gangnam Pink. Can you see the fluorescent pink? It's actually even prettier when used as a blush!
