Using this once or twice a week definitely helps improve hair health It's a shame the ingredients aren't more natural and eco-friendly - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedApr 6, 2022
It's great for managing hair texture. The ingredients are also quite clean. Since it doesn't contain dimethicone, you shouldn't expect the same level of silkiness. - pi*********Oily SkinAcne SkinJun 3, 2019
I remember buying this for around $7 through direct overseas purchase. You can apply it to your hair, put on a hair cap, leave it for a while, and then wash it off. However, it doesn't particularly make your hair softer. It doesn't seem to be very beneficial for the scalp. Instead of doing this, you're better off diligently applying a hair essence. Using a regular conditioner actually made my hair feel softer than this product. - di*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedNov 8, 2017
Updated April 2018 This is the best. After trying other products that caused back and facial acne to explode, I couldn't find another product that performs this well while maintaining good ingredients. It seems many stores sell it these days, so you don't even need to buy it from overseas. ---------------------- After my scalp was wrecked, I bought this product from overseas while searching for something with good ingredients. Unlike silicon-heavy products, it doesn't feel heavy or rich, and I've had almost no blemishes where my hair touches my face. I love that it's nearly fragrance-free after rinsing, which is great because even styling product scents can be overwhelming. The best part is how easy it is to rinse out! Based on my experience with Lush and Aromatherapy products, it seems high-quality products rinse out well. Gone are the days of endless rinsing, still getting suds and slippery hair, then rushing through my morning shower and ending up with blemishes. Now I'm protecting my scalp, my facial skin, shortening my shower time, and getting good results with just a small amount. It's really quite excellent! When I first bought it, there weren't many purchasing options, so I had to buy it from overseas. It's quite expensive in our country... Also, it doesn't particularly strengthen or repair hair, so whether you use a lot or a little, you'll still need to cut off damaged hair eventually. Here's a tip everyone seems to know: After squeezing out as much water as possible, apply it only to the ends of your hair. Finish your other tasks, then rinse it out for the best results. Don't rub it in, but rather 'feed' it to your hair by gently applying it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 23, 2017
- My hair is naturally very fine and stiff, lacking vitality. - Damage is creeping up from the ends of my hair. - I have an oily scalp with oily hair (Not sure if this is the right way to describe it, but my scalp gets greasy by evening, and while my hair is dry and severely damaged, it also gets oily by night.) - When using overly rich treatments, my hair becomes flat from the afternoon, and I get acne where my hair touches my neck. - This product has become my go-to after trying numerous treatments (from supermarkets, direct purchases, department stores, etc.) - I apply the treatment and rinse it off after 2-3 minutes. - It contains relatively few harmful ingredients (about 2 is acceptable). - It makes my hair incredibly soft (the effect seems to last for a while). - Even after blow-drying, my hair remains relatively calm (I have a lot of flyaways, and if the treatment is too weak, they tend to stick out - I can't use hair essences due to skin blemishes). - The scent is very subtle (no lingering fragrance). - It's not too rich, making it suitable for daily use on oily scalps and hair. (After showering, it doesn't leave a heavy residue on the hair) - It doesn't actually improve hair condition (It makes the hair softer, but doesn't repair damaged hair. When I shampoo the next day, my hair returns to its usual stiff state) - Contains 2 harmful ingredients - The tube design allows water to collect inside the cap at the bottom when left standing in the shower - Many people probably do this already, but... apply it to the ends of your hair like a hair mask, put on a shower cap, wait 2-3 minutes while you wash your body, then rinse it out - perfect timing! - dk*****Oily SkinAcne SkinApr 27, 2017
This treatment works well for oily scalps. I've tried many treatments, and often they feel soft while rinsing but either have no effect when drying or feel too heavy, making my scalp greasy. This product, however, feels unremarkable while rinsing, but once my hair is dry, it feels silky smooth. It's not so much about having shiny, flowing hair, but more about how easily your fingers can run through it. Even though my scalp gets oily quickly with heavier products, this one keeps my hair fresh until evening. Usually, I only leave treatments on for 2-3 minutes with a hair cap while showering, but this product needs at least 5 minutes to show any effect on hair texture. Using it for a short time or in small amounts is almost ineffective. Also, while other treatments have a consistency similar to conditioner, this one has a thick texture, kind of like the gum you squeeze out of a tube to blow bubbles. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 6, 2017
I've been using this for over two years now. Even with my curly and thick hair, it makes it incredibly soft and easy to brush. It rinses out cleanly, leaving no residue. I use Giovanni for all my hair products. There's nothing particularly bad to mention. I'm using it without any issues. I order it from iHerb. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 12, 2016
It seems to tame frizzy hair, giving it a smoother appearance. It feels like it's packed with nourishing ingredients. The fragrance is also quite pleasant. It has a somewhat heavy feel, which might be fine for dry hair, but those with oily hair might not find it suitable. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinJul 28, 2016
After trying other products, I realized how good this one is! With others, they feel soft when rinsing, but once I squeeze out the water with a towel, my hair feels rough, tangled, and impossible to comb through. It's so frustrating! This one, however, leaves my hair feeling clean and soft after rinsing and squeezing out the excess water. It's similar to a regular treatment, which is great. I have sensitive skin, so I'm relieved that it didn't cause any blemishes or reactions. I couldn't really feel any difference. I used it without any excitement or enthusiasm... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 8, 2016
My hair used to always be frizzy and dull, but it's become much more manageable now. Seeing how well it holds curls, I think my hair is gaining strength! The fact that you have to purchase it directly from overseas? These days, the website is translated into Korean and shipping is fast, so it's not really inconvenient.
