It truly has a velvety texture, so soft to the touch. The color is absolutely gorgeous, it's just a shame it doesn't suit me personally. It's great as a base layer though. The scent was quite strong, but it was just your typical cosmetic fragrance. Since it's so velvety, I think it's really important to exfoliate well before applying to avoid any issues with dead skin cells! - 77*****Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 30, 2021
The toned-down color made it versatile and great for various uses! Since I don't have sensitive skin, there wasn't really anything to complain about! - go**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 21, 2020
The color is beautiful. I love that I can layer it for different effects. The scent is disappointing. It's painful to use every time. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 10, 2019
The muted, soft pink shade makes it perfect as a lip base. Its matte texture fills in lip lines, creating a smoother appearance, and it has excellent staying power. The formula seems generous in quantity. When used alone, the very nude color might appear a bit stark. The applicator tip tends to get dirty easily. For a clean canvas before applying your statement color, gently dab the product twice on both your upper and lower lip outlines, then blend it in carefully! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 9, 2019
1. Color payoff: Even with a small amount, it gives your lips a healthy-looking hue. 2. Longevity: The staying power is top-notch. I applied just a tiny bit, and the color remained on my lips until I got home that day. 3. Shade: It's absolutely gorgeous. Sometimes I choose the wrong colors (e.g., red or orange tones) and end up looking tacky, but I think this shade is perfect for everyone. 4. Accessibility: I appreciate that it's available at Lohb's, making it easily accessible. 1. Sensitivity: If you have sensitive lips, it can be extremely drying, so I absolutely wouldn't recommend it for those with delicate skin. This product allows for full lip coverage with just a small amount - apply and press your lips together to spread it evenly. For those who love a glowy look: I recommend applying a lip plumper over it. For matte finish enthusiasts: Try wearing it alone for a more matte appearance. - qo****Combination SkinRecommendedDec 2, 2018
This is one of my go-to nude pink lip colors that I absolutely adore. I'm particularly drawn to the allure of matte lips, so I find myself reaching for this more often than glossy options. For a matte lip, it's surprisingly moisturizing and has great staying power. The mini size is perfect for popping into my bag too! As expected with color cosmetics, the ingredients aren't the best. It contains fragrance, and unfortunately, the scent reminds me of a cheap lipstick. There's something about the smell that seems a bit off-putting and potentially not great for your body. When you put a little extra effort into your eye makeup and apply this lip color, you look absolutely stunning! - tm******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 12, 2018
The color itself is truly beautiful. It's excellent as a base product. The scent... I can't even call this a cosmetic fragrance. It's not even cheap, but every time I apply it, I feel like I'm going to be sick. - bm*****Normal SkinRecommendedMay 21, 2018
I'll review a few basic shades of these gorgeous colors for you. Number 10 has a sophisticated pink base. The color payoff is excellent, and I absolutely adore the scent (though that's personal preference). It's like a pastel shade that looks fresh even on bare lips. The lip feels truly wrapped in velvet - it's an amazing product. I'd easily recommend this to those who find matte lips challenging. There's nothing particularly negative to say. It's simply one of the products I'm using well. Please don't discontinue it! For those who struggle with controlling the amount using the tip brush, apply some lip balm first, then gently pat it with your fingers for a soft, matte finish. It looks even prettier when applied on lips that aren't too heavily covered with foundation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 3, 2018
My skin tone is 22, and I'm likely a Summer Cool Mute. I absolutely love matte lipsticks and only use them. There's no dead skin cell accentuation at all. The finish is wonderfully powdery. No lip dryness whatsoever. It's a toned-down pink with a slight grayish tint. Perfect for a nude lip look! The scent could be a bit better. It's on the pricier side. If you're not careful, you might end up looking unwell. I have really small lips and was worried, but this is great as a base for overlining. Apply it first, extend your lip line, then add a point color and blend for a stunning gradient effect. The toned-down pink makes it a great starter for those who find pink difficult or want a nude lip. If you have naturally dark lips, it'll give you a nude look. If your lips are pale or colorless, you'll get a beautiful muted pink. This also works amazingly as a blush - it gives that 'my cheeks but better' natural look. Truly gorgeous! - ep******Combination SkinDec 2, 2017
I absolutely adore this lip product for its mousse-like texture and powdery finish. While it's a bit of a shame there aren't many shades I love, it's also a relief for my wallet! I'd recommend this to those who look great in muted colors. The shades are truly beautiful. It's a bit disappointing that it appears more pink on my lips than on my arm swatch, but that's just my lip color. It might look even prettier if applied over concealed lips. It feels like a less reddish version of the famous 'Nudist' shade. When 'Nudist' sometimes looks too red depending on my overall makeup, this one is perfect. The scent... but I'm used to it now. For these types of colors, exfoliating your lips is a must! From right to left: Bourjois So Hap Pink / Nudist / Don't Pink of It / Peripera Sensual Filter. Both Bourjois and Peripera Airy Velvet have a mousse-like texture that feels almost identical when dry. However, Peripera feels more moisturizing right after application, so I'm more satisfied with its absorbs. I think mixing Nudist and Don't Pink of It would create a shade similar to Sensual Filter.
