  Pros

  I've been using the Gentle Shampoo for my 19-month-old and 7-year-old girls for about 2 months now. It's convenient not having to use separate shampoos. The cleansing effectiveness is decent, and it lathers well. It's better suited for summer than winter. As for the scent, I personally like it (reminds me of balsam or acacia flowers), but I think it might be a love-it-or-hate-it kind of fragrance.

  Cons

  We haven't experienced any blemishes while using it, and it doesn't seem to sting even when it occasionally gets in their eyes. However, I've heard the ingredients aren't great, so I won't be repurchasing it.

  Pros

  I started using this on my baby from around 50 days old. My little one had seborrheic dermatitis, but the combination of Mustela Gentle Shampoo and Mustela Scalp Cream really cleaned up the scalp. It has a pleasant scent and lathers well. You only need a small amount to create a rich foam, and the bubbles are incredibly soft, giving a definite sense of gentleness.

  Cons

  It's a bit inconvenient that it doesn't have a pump. Holding the baby while opening the cap and tilting the bottle can be tricky.

  The fragrance is lovely and it lathers well. My child's seborrheic dermatitis has genuinely improved a lot since using this product.

  Cons

  While the scent is pleasant, its longevity is weak. Once I dry my hair, the fragrance is barely noticeable. That's a bit disappointing.

  I've been using this shampoo consistently since my baby was about 19 months old, just after their first birthday. My little one doesn't have particularly thick hair, so I find that a coin-sized amount is plenty. It lathers up nicely and is more than sufficient! While I can't really detect the shampoo's scent during use, there's a subtle, pleasant fragrance after rinsing.

  I'm so satisfied with this product that I haven't found any drawbacks yet!

  ✔️Age range: 4-year-old baby (good facial skin / dry, sensitive, hives-prone body, slightly itchy scalp) ✔️Reason for use: Trusted French brand with long-standing reputation, tried samples and loved the scent, so I've used almost all their products (Review) - Texture: Clear gel type Generous lather - Scent: Fresh with a hint of woody notes, which I personally love The woody undertone is right up my alley, and my baby enjoys the fragrance too - Skin irritation: None - Moisturizing effect: Feels soft and seemingly non-drying My baby used to scratch their head occasionally, but hasn't done so since using Mustela shampoo for about a month. It seems to be moisturizing Most babies don't use conditioner, and some other shampoos can leave hair feeling stiff after rinsing. This product leaves it soft - Effectiveness: Rich lather thoroughly cleanses hair, leaves it soft after rinsing. Mustela's signature scent lingers. Cleans well without drying - baby doesn't scratch their head anymore!!! - Value for money: Average I use about a nickel-sized amount, but it runs out quickly (about a month) since we bathe daily. At around $10, it's on the pricier side - Packaging: Slightly inconvenient The flip-cap design makes opening and closing a bit cumbersome

  - A pump dispenser would be more convenient (The lovely scent makes you want to wash more often, haha)

  - Instead of applying shampoo directly to baby's scalp, first dispense about a nickel-sized amount (for boys) onto your palm, lather it up between your hands, then wash baby's hair for an even richer foam
