While I can skip washing for a day without it getting greasy (so others don't notice), I'm the type who gets a lot of flakes even when I wash daily. It's so frustrating! I've never been to a dermatologist for my scalp issues, but the constant itching has made scratching my head a habit. This creates a vicious cycle of more dandruff and more itching. Among all the shampoos I've tried, Ecoglam is definitely in the top three for gentle ingredients. I first used their citrus scent when it was initially released, and I recently repurchased it because I remembered how much I liked it. It's the only shampoo I've rebought specifically for its good ingredients. As the Hwahae app shows, it doesn't contain any harmful components - it's truly gentle and great. However, I still feel itchy even when using this. Like most mild shampoos, it has a slippery texture. That's why they advertise that you don't need conditioner. I really don't use conditioner (because I'm lazy!). Plus, the quantity is enormous - a whopping 1 liter! I want to try other products, but this one just won't run out!
ConsMaybe it's because the ingredients are so gentle, but the cleansing effectiveness isn't great. I had to deduct a point for its weak cleansing power. It's not just the feeling of not getting that squeaky clean sensation, but it genuinely seems like it's not cleaning properly. It's as if the dead skin cells on my scalp aren't being removed effectively. If I use it continuously for about a week, remember how I mentioned that scratching my head is a habit? (Warning: this might be a bit gross) I end up with these large dandruff-like clumps. Also, it doesn't rinse out as easily as other products. I've never had this issue with other shampoos, but with this one, I've occasionally felt foam while drying my hair with a towel and had to rewash. Maybe I'm just being silly... The fragrance also doesn't last long at all. Once, after washing my hair and going out, my boyfriend asked if I hadn't washed my hair after about two hours. He said he could smell a slight odor from my scalp. I should mention again that both my skin and scalp are very dry, so my hair doesn't get greasy even if I skip a day of washing!
TipIn other reviews, some people mention that it doesn't lather well. After using it multiple times, I've discovered that the key to getting a good lather is to wet your hair thoroughly before applying the shampoo! Even though I have long, thick hair, I only use about one and a half pumps when shampooing. If I want a really thorough clean, I'll wash twice. Because of its weak cleansing power, I use a gentle shampoo from another brand once or twice a week.

The lavender scent is lovely. The shampoo alone is so effective that you don't really need conditioner or treatment. The volume is quite generous too. I didn't experience any blemishes or excess oiliness, so it worked well for me.
ConsTo be honest, my husband's dandruff got much worse after using this shampoo. I checked the Hwahae app just in case, and it shows good ingredients. I'm not sure why it happened though. As a result, my husband switched to a different shampoo. If you have an oily scalp, you might want to avoid this. Also, the slippery feeling after shampooing might make you feel like it hasn't rinsed off properly. If you dislike that sensation, this might not be for you.
TipI think the most important thing is to rinse the shampoo thoroughly. It lathers quite richly compared to its ingredients, so make sure to remove it completely.

Even after rinsing, it leaves a pleasant feeling. I have thick and long hair, but just two pumps are enough to thoroughly cleanse my hair. The lather is abundant and it penetrates well into the hair. The consistency is like a thin essence, so I need to pump it close to my hand. Otherwise, it might just get wasted... Since the ingredients are said to be good, I and my whole family have been using it diligently. For reference, I have a normal scalp, while my husband and our high school daughter have oily scalps.
ConsI bought this product and Peppermint, thinking they would be good for my oily scalp. But after washing, my hair feels overly soft, almost slippery, so I'm not sure if my scalp is being properly cared for. Even after rinsing for a very long time, it's similar. My child says the oil still comes up, not much different from other shampoos. But I'll continue using it for a long time, trusting the product.
TipI'm not sure about any special tips yet, but as someone with long hair, I think using a conditioner together helps prevent tangles.

My scalp is dry and sensitive, so when I use shampoos that don't suit me, it gets severely reddened and I experience itchiness and excessive dandruff. When using natural shampoos, I find that they don't lather up much, and during or after shampooing, I often feel a heavy, sticky sensation, which makes me feel like my hair is falling out more. However, the Ecoglam shampoo is different from other natural shampoos - it lathers up nicely and doesn't leave that heavy, sticky feeling. I also really liked the smooth, soft feeling when rinsing it out. The scent is similar to lavender, but it doesn't linger at all after shampooing. It seems to dissipate quickly. The ingredients are mostly good, with only one or two that I'm a bit concerned about. But overall, the quantity is generous, and I think I'll be able to use it well.
ConsThe only downside is that while it doesn't feel heavy or sticky, there is a slightly slippery sensation when rinsing, which worried me a bit. But after using it, it turned out to be fine. For the first day or two, it did cause some itchiness. But after using it for over a week, that issue resolved.

I've been really worried about my excessive hair loss lately, so I decided to switch to a shampoo without harmful ingredients. I was so happy when I won the Eco Glam Shampoo through Hwahae. As soon as I received it, I opened it and started using it. - The scent is a subtle lavender? It's not an overpowering type that lingers heavily on the hair after rinsing. I was worried that natural shampoos might have an odd scalp odor, but this one didn't have that issue. - The lather is great! I know that shampoos without surfactants are better for the hair, but I often avoid them because the lather is too weak. But this shampoo lathers up nicely even with a small amount. - After rinsing, my hair feels incredibly soft. I don't even need a separate conditioner, as my hair is left feeling smooth and lovely. Since I don't have an oily scalp, my hair doesn't get greasy or heavy even long after washing.
ConsMy hair is soft, but there's a slightly slippery feeling left on my hands. It's like the post-treatment hand feel? It's not a big deal since I can just wipe it off, but I briefly wondered if the shampoo was just coating my hair to make it feel soft, rather than deeply nourishing it.
TipI found that pumping the shampoo and adding a bit of water to create some lather in my hands before applying it to my hair helps get even better foam and allows me to use a little less shampoo.

First of all, my hair quality isn't great, but I'm the type who just shampoos and applies a hair essence. I don't like conditioner, but this shampoo solved that in one go. When I wash my hair, it used to be frizzy, and I had to use an essence, but wow, this makes my hair super soft and smooth. My mom tried it too, and she said her itchy scalp went away. Plus, it lathers really well even with just a small amount. I have long hair, and I don't need to perm it much, just a little bit. This is the best shampoo I've ever tried.
ConsThe shampoo does have a bit of oiliness, so there's a slight greasy feeling left on my back. But that's fine, as you can just rinse it off well during the shower. Of course, if your hair is really damaged, you might want to use a light essence after using this. I'm also a bit sensitive to scalp odor, and this doesn't completely eliminate it, but it does help a bit. I'll provide an update after using it for about 2 weeks. After using this, I got some pimples on my ears. It seems the oiliness is a bit much for me. :(
TipIf you use just half the usual amount of pumping and create a light lather, and apply it mainly to the scalp, it lathers up really well and cleanses the hair nicely. It has a refreshing feel.
