ProsI've gone through about 4 bottles of the Porenico Tattoo Tint, repurchasing 1 bottle at a time. As usual, I went to buy the Tattoo Tint and this caught my eye, so I decided to try it.
The pen-type tint I've used from other brands doesn't compare to the Porenico one in terms of pigmentation and longevity. The longevity is truly impressive, just as good as the tattoo tints that boast about their incredible lasting power (though the tattoo tints aren't quite as monstrous as the ads claim).
The pen also has a separate lip balm attached, so when you apply the tint and then the lip balm, it creates a really natural gradient effect. The lip balm also has a very subtle, pretty pigmentation that blends nicely with the tint.
I think Porenico's lip products are really well-made. Even the eyebrow tattoo they included as a gift/freebie was nice and undetectable.
ConsEverything is good, but the lip balm isn't a twist-up type - the whole thing just comes out. So you have to be really careful when opening and closing it, or else you can mess up the lip balm. I didn't know this at first and just opened it carelessly, scratching the lip balm, which was really frustrating. What were they thinking making it like this?
It's good enough to deserve 5 stars, but I had to take 2 off because of the terrible lip balm design.
TipIf you just swipe the pen tint on the inner part of your lips and then apply the lip balm all over, it creates a really pretty gradient effect.
