Apart from being moisturizing, I can't really squeeze out any other positives even if I tried It's disappointing that there are 7 potential allergens in this product. The color payoff is intense, but for me, the shade looked rather unflattering - wn*********Dry SkinRecommendedFeb 21, 2024
This shade is perfect for winter cool tones. It's a clear, vibrant red. No need to splurge on expensive brand-name red lipsticks when you can get this affordable gem. The color payoff is excellent, and the staying power is truly impressive. It doesn't cause dead skin cells to flake on your lips (works great year-round). Even when you reapply, the color stays true. I highly recommend it! There's not much to complain about. The scent is reminiscent of children's cosmetics, but it's not bothersome. While it doesn't cause flaking on your lips throughout the year, applying a lip balm over the lipstick can enhance the overall effect. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedNov 29, 2020
The staying power is incredible! It's the best of the best among all the products I've tried. Even after eating, wiping with a tissue, and brushing my teeth, the color still remains! I didn't realize it at first, but there are too many harmful ingredients. That seems to be its biggest drawback. Also, it looks a bit cheap, like a toy. If long-lasting wear is your priority, this might be worth trying. - by*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 25, 2020
I'm a big fan of bright red lips, and while many mood matcher products lean towards hot pink, this one has a strong red undertone with just a hint of pink. The staying power is impressive - if it fades a bit, you can simply reapply and it lasts all day. Considering the price, you get a generous amount of product, making it great value for money and long-lasting. The scent is... absolutely awful. It has that cheap cosmetics taste that makes you feel nauseous when it gets in your mouth. While I might be particularly sensitive, the strange fragrance is so off-putting that it kills my appetite - you could say it has an unintended diet effect! - bo********Dry SkinSensitive SkinMay 1, 2020
It stays on forever... That's about the only good thing... As expected from those American brands... My mom bought two, but I wish we'd checked the ingredients before buying. All Mood Matcher lipsticks end up being the same old pink. It reminds me of those Etude House lipsticks from 2002 - that nostalgic, incredibly tacky neon pink. I'm usually quick to notice these things, so when I applied it, my lips started burning and tingling. I even swatched it on my arm to check the color, and my skin felt irritated. Shocked, I looked at the ingredients and oh my... What are these components? I'm too scared to use it, but my mom says she'll keep using it. I'm really worried about her... I just wish those American brands would get their act together and make cosmetics with some sense... - gu********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 29, 2020
If you apply this lip balm properly, it surprisingly doesn't cause dead skin cells to flake. The color isn't dull, and it has good staying power. The ingredients... oh, the ingredients... While it has good longevity, I'm hesitant to repurchase due to concerns about potential issues with long-term use because of the ingredients. Use after applying lip balm. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 24, 2019
The lip balm format makes it easy to apply, gliding on smoothly. Surprisingly, it even has a tint despite being a lip balm. The color is more outdated than expected. The packaging looks quite cheap, making it a bit embarrassing to carry around. After some time, it tends to emphasize dead skin cells on the lips. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 30, 2019
The staying power is unbeatable! I've been a nomad searching for long-lasting lip products, from the pricey Giorgio Armani lip lacquers to the affordable Peripera ones. This one takes the crown! It's even moisturizing to boot. Once applied, it's tricky to touch up, so you need to be precise with your lip line. Some say the ingredients aren't great, but it works for me, so I'll keep using it. It's best not to layer it on too thick. - kv*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 20, 2019
There are green and red versions available. The green one has better ingredients, but the red one causes less dead skin cells to appear. The green turns into a deep pink shade, while the red transforms into a vibrant red color. The red one is more moisturizing and turns a lovely red, which I prefer, but the green has better ingredients overall. As for staying power, the Mood Matcher is incredibly long-lasting, no question about it. It's also very hydrating! However, for some reason, the green seems to cause a bit more flaking of dead skin cells, unfortunately. You need to be careful not to ingest it. I wonder why there's such a big difference in ingredients between the green and red versions. When applying, make sure to spread it evenly at first because once it's absorbed, you can't make any corrections! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 14, 2019
The staying power is truly impressive. It doesn't come off easily even after eating or drinking. The color also worked really well for me. The case is made of clear plastic, which looks rather cheap. While I've been using this product a lot due to its excellent longevity, I recently looked into the ingredients and found they're not particularly good, which is disappointing.
