It's so moisturizing that it's really comfortable to use, and I can apply it without feeling heavy on my skin

There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. This essence faithfully fulfills its primary role.

Why I bought it: Recently switched to gentler products due to skin issues. Bought a hyaluronic acid emulsion, but it felt drying when applied right after toner. That's when I understood what 'deep dryness' meant. So, I looked for an essence to use before the emulsion and found this on sale at TheSAEM (10,400 won).

Texture: As you can see in the photo, it's neither too sticky nor too light!

Absorption: Great! It leaves skin feeling hydrated and absorbs smoothly.

Scent: Reminds me of my mom's cosmetics? After using unscented products lately, it was refreshing to smell a proper skincare scent. There's something thrilling about it... While not off-putting, it has a slightly strong perfume-like scent, so those with super sensitive skin might want to patch test first.

Results: I only added this essence to my routine of toner, emulsion, and cream (all from the same line), and like magic, the dryness disappeared. It applies gently on the face, and I'm very satisfied!

I don't have any complaints. 
If I had to nitpick, I'd say that because I use it daily, I go through it quickly and need to repurchase often.

This is my third bottle of this essence, and I'm still loving it! I have combination skin with an oily T-zone and dry cheeks, but this product does an excellent job balancing oil and moisture across my entire face. It even tackles deep dryness effectively. Personally, the oil-moisture ratio in this product suits my skin perfectly - I can skip moisturizer without feeling dry!

The lightweight texture absorbs well, and the scent is pleasant without being overpowering. It's non-sticky and absorbs quickly. Even with multiple layers, it doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy. For me, it's neither too light nor too heavy, making it perfect for year-round use.

The Saem often has sales these days, so it might be a good idea to grab it then!

It looked bigger in the photos, so I was a bit disappointed by its actual size when it arrived. Also, while it absorbs quickly, it doesn't seem to provide long-lasting hydration, which is a shame.

I decided to try Harakeké after hearing it performs just as well as high-end department store cosmetics. First off, I love that it's in a pump bottle - it's hygienic and dispenses just the right amount. Each pump releases the perfect quantity, not too much at all. When applied before makeup, this essence feels wonderfully hydrating, seemingly moisturizing deep into the skin. It doesn't cause my makeup to pill or separate, which is fantastic. The essence doesn't run when applied, and there's no sticky feeling - big pluses in my book. Since it doesn't feel overly rich, I think this product would be great for combination or dehydrated oily skin types. This product is truly my holy grail. It's so good that I can hardly find any faults with it!

While it feels moisturizing at first, the hydration doesn't seem to last very long.

As someone with combination skin, I find this absorbs quickly when applied. Actually, I think I prefer the Hada Labo toner and emulsion samples I received.
