At first, after washing my face, I was surprised how it started off moisturizing but became increasingly smooth as I applied it. It left my skin feeling refreshed! I wish there was more product in the container! The amount is a bit disappointing. I loved how it applied smoothly without any stickiness. It felt like it absorbed instantly. I didn't feel like it helped with blemishes.. Just felt comfortable to use.

Skin type: Sensitive (I had severe atopic dermatitis as a child. While I don't typically get blemishes, my skin immediately becomes irritated and red when using products with strong ingredients) Application: Love how it's not sticky Absorption: Absorbs cleanly, feeling like a serum after application Hydration: Slightly insufficient on its own, but perfect when followed with a light layer of moisturizer! Recommended as a reliable hydrating essence The lid of the container seems a bit flimsy. It feels slightly loose... Quick review: Great for summer use unless you have extremely dry or oily skin! Absorbs well, combats deep dryness, and no side effects! Skin type: Dry + Sweaty face in summer with occasional acne / Mild sensitivity to incompatible products Why I bought it: Recently switched to gentler products due to skin issues. Bought a hyaluronic acid emulsion, but it felt drying when applied right after toner. That's when I understood what 'deep dryness' meant. So, I looked for an essence to use before the emulsion and found this on sale at TheSAEM (10,400 won). Texture: As you can see in the photo, it's neither too sticky nor too light! Absorption: Great! It leaves skin feeling hydrated and absorbs smoothly. Scent: Reminds me of my mom's cosmetics? After using unscented products lately, it was refreshing to smell a proper skincare scent. There's something thrilling about it... While not off-putting, it has a slightly strong perfume-like scent, so those with super sensitive skin might want to patch test first. Results: I only added this essence to my routine of toner, emulsion, and cream (all from the same line), and like magic, the dryness disappeared. It applies gently on the face, and I'm very satisfied! Might not be enough/too much for extremely dry or oily skin. Likely to satisfy those with balanced skin! Caution: The scent is quite strong, so be careful if you have super sensitive skin!! (It's not a bad scent though) As someone with dry skin, I think it might not be enough in winter, but perfect for summer! This is my third bottle of this essence, and I'm still loving it! I have combination skin with an oily T-zone and dry cheeks, but this product does an excellent job balancing oil and moisture across my entire face. It even tackles deep dryness effectively. Personally, the oil-moisture ratio in this product suits my skin perfectly - I can skip moisturizer without feeling dry! The lightweight texture absorbs well, and the scent is pleasant without being overpowering. It's non-sticky and absorbs quickly. Even with multiple layers, it doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy. For me, it's neither too light nor too heavy, making it perfect for year-round use. I don't have any complaints. If I had to nitpick, I'd say that because I use it daily, I go through it quickly and need to repurchase often.
