I've been using this for 10 years now. With my dry skin, other foundations tend to flake and separate, but this one adheres perfectly. It's the best for me! The coverage and longevity might not be the strongest, but personally, I don't find it to be a significant issue, which is why I've continued using it for so long. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 9, 2020
The texture is like a hydrating moisturizer, allowing for a natural skin appearance! I prefer foundations that look more natural rather than heavy coverage, so I've used two bottles of this. I didn't experience any blemishes either. It comes with a spatula tip inside, which made it easy to dispense and apply cleanly. I noticed it contains talc. Talc in other cosmetics didn't agree with my skin, but maybe the low concentration in this one made it okay for me. Be cautious though, as most Japanese cosmetics contain a lot of talc. Always check the ingredients carefully! While I appreciated the variety of shades available, it seems this product has been discontinued now... - ji**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 30, 2020
As someone with combination dehydrated, sensitive skin using shade 23, I love the natural color it provides! 1. The coverage is really excellent. Being a cream foundation, it feels so rich and smooth. 2. The amount is incredibly generous! It seems to last forever. 3. It gives me that coveted porcelain skin look. The jar packaging means I have to use a spatula, which is a bit inconvenient. It's disappointing that it might oxidize each time I open the lid. It's a shame it's only available through duty-free or overseas purchases. The opening tends to get messy easily. - so*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJul 31, 2019
You absolutely must buy this! I highly recommend it to those with dry skin who struggle to find a suitable foundation due to extreme dryness. Even if you skip your usual skincare routine, this applies like a true emulsion. Just using this alone gives you a beautiful, glowing complexion. I've personally gone through 4 bottles of this foundation. It's my top recommendation and the only one I use now. Well... the price? And it's made in Japan. Other than those points, there's really nothing to criticize about this foundation. The coverage is also medium to high. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJun 18, 2019
This is truly my holy grail product! It's so moisturizing and adheres to the skin beautifully... Why is the OC01 shade no longer available? It's such a shame! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 16, 2019
The coverage is quite impressive considering how moisturizing it is, making it a go-to product. As someone with dry, atopy-prone skin, I'm extremely conscious of dead skin cells showing, but this product minimizes that issue better than any I've tried. The color leans more natural than bright, though. It's one of the best I've used, but perhaps due to its limited availability, there aren't many reviews. Personally, I found it even better than Giorgio Armani's cream foundation, with less transfer. There are more potential allergens than expected, so it's best for those without sensitivities. As with any cream foundation, scooping out the product can be a bit inconvenient. A brush seems to be the best tool for application. Whether you're applying or patting it in, using a brush minimizes the appearance of dead skin cells and leaves a beautifully hydrated finish. - ma*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 18, 2019
The color is beautiful and it feels moisturizing. It applies smoothly without patchiness. The packaging is also lovely. It doesn't suit me. While the color is pretty and it feels hydrating, it comes off easily and has zero coverage. - tn*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 2, 2019
It's incredibly hydrating and absorbs beautifully! The amount is surprisingly generous, so it'll last a long time. Unfortunately, since the product comes in a glass container with many angular edges, there's quite a bit of waste. I bought it at duty-free, and it's on the pricier side (if we're talking value for money). If you're choosing this foundation expecting good coverage, I'd recommend putting it back down. The coverage is really non-existent. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedDec 3, 2018
It's wonderfully moisturizing for dry skin. Despite being quite hydrating, it still provides decent coverage. Even when I switch to other products, I find myself coming back to this one in autumn and winter. The shade tends to be on the darker side, making it a bit challenging to achieve a bright, radiant look. - z5******Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 12, 2018
First off, I absolutely love the natural color. I usually wear shade 23, and this foundation matched my skin tone perfectly. It's yellow-based, so keep in mind it might feel a bit too yellow for some. Still, if you're into a natural look, I highly recommend it. The skin finish is simply gorgeous. It gives a subtle dewy glow that, combined with the natural color, really makes your skin look amazing. I've received so many compliments on how good my skin looks when wearing this! It's incredibly hydrating, which is great for those with dry skin. I have dry skin myself, and usually get fine lines and patchiness with even slight dryness, but not with this product. It's perfect for those with dry skin types. The coverage is quite good for such a hydrating foundation. I mainly use moisturizing foundations, and compared to others, this one provides better coverage. The way it wears off is actually quite pretty. You know how some foundations can look patchy and separate around the nose? This one doesn't do that. Instead of looking like your makeup is coming off, it just seems to blend more naturally with your skin over time. I really appreciate that aspect. The packaging is a bit of a letdown. It's a jar-type container, which is quite inconvenient. Product always ends up on the lid, which is such a waste! I use a spatula to get the product out, but it's still annoying, and it's easy for dust to get in. It can stick to hair and leave marks on the skin, but that's somewhat expected with hydrating foundations. The longevity isn't amazing. If I don't touch up from morning to evening, by nighttime it feels like most of the makeup has faded. However, even as it fades, it blends naturally with the skin rather than completely disappearing. It's more like the radiance diminishes, leaving a natural look, which is somewhat acceptable.
