Incredibly lightweight with excellent adherence. I was amazed when I applied it! The term 'porcelain skin' truly suits this product. Despite my skin having dead skin cells and visible pores, it applies smoothly without any patchiness, which I love. It goes on thin and creates a beautifully natural look. The texture is fascinating, and although it's labeled as a serum, it's definitely lighter than most BB creams. For those with oily skin, there might be some darkening, but it seems perfect for a light summer application. I have fair skin, and the color is quite nice, so I think I'll use it well. I visited the Varu Lab website and found they're selling products with expiration dates approaching July 2024 at incredibly low prices (under $5). I ordered out of curiosity, paying $3 for shipping, and it's remarkable! I plan to purchase the full-sized product with a longer shelf life later. Hoping the price stays this good, I'm writing this review with that wish in mind. The coverage is somewhat lacking. You'll need to use concealer; otherwise, it looks a bit too natural. There's some darkening of the skin. The white container is pretty, but it might get messy if you apply the BB cream carelessly. Perhaps due to the inorganic UV filters, those with dry skin should moisturize well before application to prevent deep dryness. As there's only one shade, it might be too light for those with darker skin tones (around shade 25). Apply sparingly. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 4, 2021
Compared to other products, it doesn't leave an oily residue or feel heavy on the skin. It has a really nice feel. There's not really anything to complain about, except that the amount you get is a bit small for the price... - ao****Dry SkinRecommendedJul 16, 2020
I've always used BB creams in compact form, but those would make my cheeks itchy after wearing makeup for a long time. I used to think it was just me being sensitive or that's how my skin was. But this one doesn't do that! It's perfectly moisturizing and stays put without breaking down for a long time! The shade is a bit darker for someone who usually uses shade 21 in other products. - je********Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 23, 2020
First off, it absorbs beautifully and feels so hydrating! I was worried about its staying power, but it lasts really well! Overall, I'm truly satisfied with this product! The coverage isn't incredibly high! If you're looking for precise coverage, you might need to use it alongside a cushion foundation or concealer! - yu*******Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 11, 2019
To cut to the chase, I absolutely loved it. There's talk that this BB cream is supplied to dermatology clinics, and while I can't confirm that, the ingredients do seem gentle. Usually, when I wear cushion products, my skin feels suffocated all day, gets oily, and I break out - but none of that happened with this! It's hydrating, making my skin look beautiful, and it naturally brightens my complexion. I'd say its biggest strengths are the gentle ingredients and how hydrating it is. Those with lighter skin tones might find it a bit dark. It's a shame it only comes in one shade - I wish there were more color options. Since it's hydrating and has gentle ingredients, you shouldn't expect high coverage. But in my opinion, it still evens out the skin tone nicely and even seems to blur red blemish scars, so I'm satisfied. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMar 22, 2019
The color is fantastic! It suits even those with a darker complexion really well. It's the best BB cream I've used so far, so I haven't found any drawbacks yet. I've found that mixing it with sunscreen before application gives an even softer color. That's how I use it myself. - qw********Oily SkinRecommendedDec 18, 2018
First off, it's wonderfully hydrating. The color isn't that dull BB cream shade you might expect. It has a slightly pink-based foundation feel that really brightens up your complexion. The coverage isn't particularly great, so I find myself applying two or three thin layers. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedNov 2, 2018
I'm completely smitten with Barusolle! The application is smooth, it's wonderfully hydrating, and you can layer it without any pilling. The adherence to the skin is excellent, and the longevity is impressive too. For a BB cream, the coverage is quite decent - you can always use concealer for any blemishes. It gives a natural glow, and it suits my skin perfectly. I'm absolutely loving it! The product comes in a rather small quantity. Other than that, I don't have any particular complaints. After applying the BB cream and spritzing some mist, you get this gorgeous glow and a natural-looking complexion that's simply adorable. - yu*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedOct 31, 2018
A BB cream that's also a moisturizer? I loved the emulsion-like texture that matched my complexion perfectly. It's hydrating, doesn't cause darkening, and holds up well throughout the day. The best part? I hardly needed to touch up! Even with my abundance of pores, it covered them nicely with minimal pilling or clumping. The quantity is a bit disappointing, and it doesn't cover blemishes well, so you'll need to use concealer or cushion foundation separately, which is a bit of a letdown. When applying with your hands, it feels like they absorb all the moisture, so I recommend using a brush or sponge to apply it! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 3, 2018
As someone with super sensitive skin, I often break out with certain cosmetics, but this one doesn't cause any blemishes. The coverage works well for me too. While a single light application doesn't cover much, layering it two or three times on areas I want to conceal does the job perfectly. I'm on my second bottle now, purchasing with my own money, and unless I find a better alternative, I'll likely buy it again when I run out. There's not much I dislike about it personally. The only slight inconvenience is that my hair sometimes sticks to my face a bit, but that's unavoidable with BB creams as opposed to foundations.
