I got this as a gratis item when buying a Yurica brush cleaner, and it was better than expected! Due to its alcohol content, it's absolutely not for use on open blemishes! However, it works quite well on red, inflamed spots. It won't make blemishes disappear completely, but it does seem to reduce their size. Large blemishes become smaller, and raised spots flatten out a bit. There's a lot of excess powder, both during application and afterwards. Once applied, it hardens, and if you move your face while lying down, you can hear the powder falling off. It's also quite noticeable when applied, so you can only really use it before bed. It's not worth buying specifically, but it might be okay to add to your cart when purchasing other Yurica items to meet the free shipping threshold. - su**********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 28, 2019
As soon as I apply it, I feel a cooling sensation that makes it seem like my blemishes are being disinfected! When I put it on before bed, it does seem to have a slightly calming effect... There's no definitive effect, unfortunately. I just apply it occasionally for peace of mind. After washing your face and applying toner, you can dab this on with a cotton swab. I think the clear liquid is more effective than the pink powder. - sp********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 11, 2019
When applied to areas where blemishes appear at night, it really works wonders. Small bumps disappear after a day or two of use, while larger pimples seem to vanish after about three days of application. It's an innovative and unique product that needs to be shaken before use. The natural ingredient 'calamine' is included, which quickly and gently soothes skin concerns while taking care of excess sebum and impurities. Urica Pink Spot is divided into two layers: 1st layer: Pink powder layer that directly treats problem areas 2nd layer: Clear liquid layer that's more effective for soothing the skin The product comes with a thoughtful dual-ended cotton swab. It's conveniently designed with different shapes for specific areas (spot treatment and general areas), making it easy to apply precisely. Though the volume seems small, using it with the cotton swab makes it last a long time. I think it could last for two years! The packaging design is really cute and pretty, so I'm also using it as a decorative piece. I plan to keep using it as decor even after it's empty. You can't wear makeup or go out after using this product. The pink color is quite noticeable when applied, so you can only use it before bed or when staying at home on days you're not going out. There's a concern about it staining pillows and bedding when sleeping with it on, but it's mostly rubbed off by morning. While it's a compact size that fits comfortably in your hand, there's no need to carry it around as a portable item. The scent is like acetone, which isn't particularly pleasant. Note: This product should absolutely not be shaken before use. Unlike many products that require shaking, if the two layers mix, the pink powder won't adhere to the cotton swab properly. When you buy this, it comes with a pointed cotton swab. Using the pointed end instead of the blunt end allows for more precise application. Make sure to use this as the very last step in your skincare routine. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 31, 2019
I've been using this for about a month now, and it's absolutely amazing at calming blemishes! When I apply it before bed, they're almost gone by the next morning. There's a slight alcohol scent, but it's not overpowering. However, it really stings when applied to areas with minor cuts or scrapes. For areas with mild irritation, I applied a thin layer and wiped it off after about an hour. Since I used less product on these sensitive spots, I noticed some excess powder. - 19********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 28, 2018
When I use this on the day a blemish appears and sleep with it on, it seems to reduce the itching. After using it for about two nights, I notice some effectiveness. While it's not a dramatic change, it does seem to help speed up the healing process. So I use it occasionally when something pops up. The amount is more than I expected. Since I only dab it on spots, it's not running out quickly. It has a subtle, pleasant scent. And honestly... it's just pretty! Part of my satisfaction comes from how aesthetically pleasing it is. To be honest, since it's meant to be a spot treatment, I was expecting somewhat more dramatic results and felt a bit disappointed. I thought the blemish would be noticeably faded when I woke up the next morning (haha). While that's not the case, I do find myself reaching for it when my skin is super sensitive, and it stops me from touching the area. It must be helping, right? Oh, and for those who toss and turn a lot in their sleep - you might wake up wondering if you even applied it the night before, as it disappears without a trace. It's like magic! - dy********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 18, 2018
Apart from the speedy delivery, I can't think of anything positive to say... The excess powder is incredibly messy, and there's something in it, maybe alcohol, that makes my skin sting terribly. I didn't see any soothing effects at all. I feel like I've wasted my money, which is so frustrating! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 13, 2018
The little bumps on my forehead have disappeared! Also, when applied directly to inflamed red pimples, it calms them down quickly. It's especially effective when used after popping a pimple. The liquid disappears faster compared to the powder... Being a powder, it falls off when applied. Also, those with extremely sensitive skin may experience some irritation. For pimples that ooze when squeezed, try applying a patch for about a day, then use this spot treatment. It makes them disappear even faster. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 1, 2018
This seems like it would be great for those dealing with pustular acne I'm not sure if it's just me, but it didn't really help with my small pimples. I repurchased and used it again, but it wasn't as effective at calming blemishes as when I first tried it - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 28, 2018
While I'm not sure if it truly calms or soothes, it seems to prevent blemishes from getting worse Can't be mixed with powder, so it's not portable. Yurika's signature tacky packaging... - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 25, 2018
When I felt a blemish coming on, I'd dab this on and wake up the next morning to find it had vanished. It worked even better than tea tree oil for me. The downsides were the excess powder that would fall off, the strong, pungent scent that stung my nose, and occasionally, it caused a tingling sensation on my skin.
