It's great for dry and sensitive skin. It provides good hydration and seems relatively gentle. It's quite expensive... I recommend buying it when it's on sale at LOHB's! - go*******Normal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 21, 2020
I don't have acne-prone skin, but I do have very dry skin with dead skin cells and oiliness in the nose and forehead areas. I also tend to have severe redness due to heat sensitivity! I bought this product because I heard it was gentle, and I'm now on my 4th bottle! To be honest, it's really great for toner masking and it's very gentle! The scent isn't particularly unpleasant either. My skin doesn't agree with the Dokdo toner, so I used rose water before, but I'm happy that this has helped clear up my closed comedones. The price is absolutely wicked! I either buy it during sales or online. The value for money is a bit lacking, unfortunately. This is really amazing, you know? When you've been out in the sun a lot, soak a cotton pad in regular tap water, squeeze it out, and then generously apply this skin. Place it on both cheeks and forehead, leave it for a while, and when you remove it, the heat sensation disappears quickly! Also, when using the toner to refine your skin texture, don't just apply it directly. Instead, dampen a cotton pad with water, squeeze it out well, then apply the toner to it. This way, it lasts much longer and works even better! - si*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinMay 15, 2019
I bought this toner on impulse during a Lohb's sale, swayed by the persuasive staff when I was actually looking for Bbia tint. I had another toner at the time, so I didn't use it until last December. Now that I've finished it, I wanted to share my review. 1. Soothing effect The best thing about this toner is its quick soothing effect. It felt great for gently cleansing my skin texture, providing rapid relief. Occasionally, when I used the '7-skin method' (layering toner multiple times), it helped rehydrate and calm my skin. This toner, along with a cream, was really helpful in restoring my skin when it felt irritated. However, this product has quite a few drawbacks. I'm not sure if it's worth buying just for its soothing effect. 2. Ingredients Oh boy... It's fine to use without knowing, but once you check the ingredients, you might not want to use it anymore. Luckily, I didn't have any issues when using the 7-skin method, but I'm unsure about long-term effects. It's a one-and-done product for me. I'd rather use that Bio Essence Emulsion in a similar price range with better hydration. 3. Good hydration, but rapid drying The 7-skin method provides an overflow of moisture, but it's only momentary. Dryness sets in quickly... Even applying cream doesn't prevent the dry feeling. While it's soothing, I fear continued use might lead to severe deep dryness (especially for my already dry skin). 4. Price vs. Quantity It's expensive... Fortunately, Lohb's often has sales, but even the sale price is high. I won't be repurchasing, but still, it feels a bit much... - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJan 14, 2019
I've been using this based on a store employee's recommendation, and I really like it. Although it's a bit pricey, I heard the ingredients are good, so I'm using it together with my daughter. Apart from the price, I didn't really find anything disappointing about it. When you apply it to your face with a cotton pad, it seems to have a definite calming effect. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 6, 2019
I appreciated that it wasn't irritating due to the absence of floral scents and alcohol. While it claimed to address deep dryness, I didn't experience the dramatic effect I was led to expect during the product explanation. However, I did notice a slight reduction in dryness. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 28, 2018
Honestly, it's great for sensitive skin. After applying, my skin feels noticeably different and moisturized, which I really like. I usually have a lot of blemishes, and I can't deny that they seem to have decreased a bit. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 20, 2018
I bought this based on a recommendation, but I'm not sure what to think. Maybe the lightweight packaging is a plus? I purchased this at Lohb's because they recommended it as a gentle, deeply hydrating toner. However, when I apply it, there's a strong scent and it feels like I'm putting on cleansing water. It also has that characteristic dryness typical of European products. I don't think I'll be buying this again. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 3, 2018
The generous 400ml size means you can stock up and use it for a long time. It feels like it never runs out, no matter how much you use. I struggled with seborrheic dermatitis for a while, and just when I finally recovered, using this cleansing water immediately caused a flare-up. Even after stopping and trying again later, it caused another reaction. Absolutely not suitable for skin with blemishes. It stings intensely upon application. I was shocked that a cleansing product could cause such a burning sensation on my face. Don't believe the claims written on the bottle. [Author's skin type: Treated seborrheic dermatitis, redness, small bumps, partial hyperpigmentation, melasma] Unless you have skin of steel, I absolutely do not recommend this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 25, 2018
As the weather turned dry, I was struggling with a lot of dead skin cells on my face and my makeup would only look good when first applied, then start to flake off after a short while. It was a real mess. However, since I started using this toner, those issues have significantly improved. I might be able to pinpoint more drawbacks if I used the entire line of products, but when using just this toner alone, I didn't really find any particular shortcomings. I was satisfied because it effectively addressed the dead skin cells issue, which was my main concern. - um******Oily SkinRecommendedAug 23, 2018
I was looking for a new cleanser when a Lohb's staff member recommended both a cleansing oil and gel, so I ended up buying them together. To be honest, before this, I used to just grab whatever was available at Olive Young without considering ingredients or my skin type. That probably caused some irritation. Compared to my previous products, this one seems less irritating to my skin. When I first started using this product, I thought it was incredibly gentle because my previous toners were much more irritating. However, I'm not sure if I've become accustomed to it or if my skin has become more sensitive, but recently I've noticed a slight tingling sensation when using it. I thought it might be the cotton pads, so I switched those, but the tingling persisted. After finishing this toner, I tried the Dokdo toner I recently purchased and found it worked well, which made me think that perhaps the ingredients in the Edenanse toner no longer suit my skin. I used about 3-4 bottles, and it was great until I experienced the tingling sensation towards the end of my last bottle. If this toner works well for you, I think it's also good to use it as a skin pack by soaking 4-5 layers of cotton pads and applying them to your face.
