Being a powder type, it cleanses thoroughly and effectively. It's convenient since it's not pre-portioned - you can just tap out as much as you need. I'm not sure about its brightening effects. When my skin is in poor condition, it can feel a bit tingling. The product is decent, but why can't I find it lately? Has it been discontinued? I use this when I want a deep cleanse. - dd*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 23, 2020
- I use this as my second cleanse - Leaves my skin feeling smooth and silky - Love how squeaky clean it makes my skin feel - Being a powder, you need to use a foam net (bit of a hassle..) - If you try to lather it with your hands, you might cough as the powder flies around (seems the particles are finer than expected) - I bought it as an exfoliating foam cleanser, but I'm not sure if it actually removes dead skin cells (it does remove makeup decently though) - I use it for my second cleanse after oil cleansing - Might be good for morning cleansing too - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 5, 2017
The enzyme powder wash worked really well for me. The next day, my face looked as smooth as a peeled egg! It was amazing how it evened my skin tone. It's becoming difficult to find. Are they only selling the cleansing gel now? I noticed the powder type from Detclear seems to be unavailable in offline stores. I wonder if there's an issue with the product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 16, 2016
It comes in powder form. When you add water, it creates a lather that you can use to gently massage your face. If you use a foam net, you can create an incredible amount of foam with just a tiny bit of product. I tend to get pustular acne, and as we know, scrubs with granules are a no-go for this type of blemishes. The foam is so gentle... I used it sparingly, massaging lightly every two or three days. I noticed that my acne-prone skin no longer had that typical oily feel with dead skin cells flaking off. That was definitely a plus for me. And instead of seeing visible flakes of dead skin, it's like the dead skin cells just melt away. The price... well, it's pricier than what you'd find in road shops, but I think it offers better value for money compared to some other well-known brands (I bought it on sale at Olive Young). A foam net is a must-have! With powder types, you really need to work up a good lather to use it effectively. If you just add water, it doesn't foam up well and you end up using more product... which is a bit heartbreaking, isn't it?
