Unlike other gel cleansing foams I've used, this one left absolutely no residue after washing. I'm not sure if it's mildly acidic or alkaline, but my skin felt squeaky clean after use (even when I used it as a second cleanse after oil cleansing). There's zero slippery feeling left behind, my toner absorbs well, and it doesn't create foam when I apply toner. I was worried the gel wouldn't lather well, but it actually produces an amazing amount of foam. I really love it! There's not really anything to complain about, but if I had to pick one thing, it would be the scent...? You do get used to it after a few uses, but at first, I really didn't like it. I usually don't pay much attention to smells, but I remember this one being quite intense. I wouldn't recommend using it with a foam dispenser. It works much better when you lather it with your hands. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 10, 2020
I started my cleansing journey with this cleansing emulsion, and I haven't felt the need to switch to anything else. I use it to remove point makeup and immediately start rolling it on my skin. It's not too oily, leaving my skin feeling hydrated. Of course, this alone isn't enough for thorough cleansing. Even with just sunscreen on, I don't think this would be sufficient to remove everything completely. For me, the ideal combination seems to be: lip and eye remover, followed by this cleansing emulsion, then a foaming net with cleansing gel. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 2, 2020
After use, my skin feels incredibly soft! It also reduces the feeling of tightness. I'm not sure if it cleanses thoroughly enough. The cleansing effectiveness is a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 10, 2019
I switched from using oil to this because my blemishes weren't going away, and it's so hydrating. It's definitely gentle on the skin. The cleansing effectiveness is great too. I use it to avoid damaging my skin barrier. The cleansing power isn't as strong as oil, so you need to remove point makeup separately before using this. I'm a bit concerned that since the emulsion absorbs well, it might also absorb impurities. However, I haven't had any issues so far. Make sure to use enough product and roll it on thoroughly. And it's crucial to wipe it off with a sponge! Use a soft sponge to avoid irritation. Follow up with a low pH foam cleanser as a second step. If you skip this, it won't wash off completely and can lead to blemishes. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 27, 2019
The texture itself is nice. It feels like an emulsion and rolls on smoothly. Cleansing effectiveness! This alone won't remove everything if you use it for washing. Also, if you have sensitive skin and only use this with water, you'll end up with a face full of blemishes like mine. Use it as a second cleanser as others have suggested. I'm going back to cleansing oil... - pl******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 13, 2019
It's moisturizing and gentle. I've been using it since I had contact dermatitis and folliculitis. My dermatologist recommended using a cleansing cream for dry, sensitive skin, so I bought this after much deliberation. 1. The cleansing effectiveness isn't exceptional. The Carezone sunscreen I used always left residue around my nose. I had to cleanse twice for a thorough clean, though that sunscreen is particularly stubborn to remove. Even after switching to Beyond, I still had to be extra careful with cleansing. 2. It's a cleansing cream, but it absorbs into the skin, which can make you feel rushed. 3. A second cleanse is absolutely necessary as its cleansing power is lacking. For dry, sensitive skin, it's worth using despite its limited cleansing power. It's hydrating and gentle. I was just grateful to find something that didn't cause any reactions, given how desperate my situation was. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedOct 12, 2019
It's moisturizing and gentle. I use it as my first cleanser. I love that it's fragrance-free and non-irritating. It seems to work well for my dry combination skin... However, I don't think it was particularly affordable. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 3, 2019
I bought this with confidence, trusting the Physiogel brand The feel after use isn't refreshing, and I'm unsure if it's actually doing its job - it's all a bit ambiguous - cr********Combination SkinRecommendedMay 27, 2019
It's gentle on the skin. My face doesn't feel excessively dry after cleansing. While it's mild, as a guy, I miss that refreshing feeling after washing. It's a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 28, 2019
I bought this cleanser as I needed something immediately after using the Daily Moisture Therapy Cleanser. It's used by my young elementary school children. The texture is a complete emulsion. After cleansing, the skin feels incredibly soft. Within a few days of use, blemishes appeared around the nose area, and the pores became visibly white. When the kids wash on their own, it leaves a slippery residue as if there's leftover product, requiring multiple rinses with water. It might be better to use a cleansing water first, then follow with a water rinse. If you don't experience any blemishes, it's a good cleanser to use.
