As hydrating as skincare, with better coverage than a tinted moisturizer, yet not as heavy or suffocating as a foundation. - True to its name, it's wonderfully hydrating. Ideal for combination dehydrated skin in winter and likely great for dry skin types. Despite its moisturizing properties, it doesn't feel overly rich, preventing messy breakdown throughout the day. - Its hydrating nature contributes to excellent adherence. It melds with the skin seamlessly, absorbing well like a skincare product. - Unfortunately, it caused blemishes on my skin. I was shocked as this was the first makeup product to ever trigger a breakout for me. Even after trying various drugstore foundations and cushions without issues, this product led to countless red pimples on my cheeks and chin. To be sure, I waited a few days and tried again, only to experience another breakout. I strongly recommend patch testing if you have super sensitive skin. The Medium shade is equivalent to about shade 25. I could use it in summer when my naturally darker complexion tans even more, but it's a bit dark for my lighter winter skin. If you're around shade 23, you should opt for the Light-Medium or Light option.
