As my first ever foundation, I had high expectations, and I'm thrilled to say it didn't disappoint! First off, I absolutely adore matte finishes, and this one delivers a beautifully matte look that makes me want to repurchase it. It's so good, it brings tears of joy to my eyes! After about 4 hours, my T-zone might get a bit oily, but a quick touch-up with some powder sorts that right out. The coverage is definitely above average - while I don't have any noticeable blemishes or scars on my face, it does an excellent job of concealing my dark circles. In fact, it works so well that when I remove my makeup, I'd rather not look in the mirror! The Hwahae Testers would be proud! If I had to nitpick, it might transfer onto clothes a bit, but that seems unavoidable with most foundations. Don't worry though, it's not too bad! There's also that signature MAC foundation scent, which might not be everyone's cup of tea. I personally like it, but if you're sensitive to fragrances, you might want to give it some thought. And of course, we can't ignore the price tag... ouch! Oh, and just a heads up - the pump for this foundation isn't included. If I remember correctly, it costs around $3 extra and needs to be purchased separately. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 22, 2018
This was my first time trying this foundation, and I'd say it was pretty decent overall. I have combination dehydrated skin, and when I use it for long periods, I get some blemishes. But I keep using it because it looks so natural. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedNov 28, 2018
It feels moisturizing when applied and has a semi-matte finish with decent staying power. The darker shade can make your complexion look healthier and more radiant. If you layer it on too thick, you might get comments that you look like you've been rolling in mud at a spa. Also, it's a bit disappointing that you have to buy the pump separately for an extra $3.
