They've revamped the packaging! This is my absolute favorite lipstick. I picked it up at a home shopping channel and I'm truly in love with it. The color is a gorgeous orange-tinted red. When applied to dry lips, it tends to flake and emphasize dead skin cells. It does highlight lip texture a bit. This shade complements warm skin tones beautifully.

Additionally, the color itself is a flattering and brightening shade for the face. Although it is a matte lipstick, it is not completely drying on the lips and has a slightly transferable quality. The color is more of a reddish-orange rather than a pure orange, making it less daunting to apply. As a matte lipstick, it doesn't cling to or emphasize dry patches on the lips. It also applies smoothly and, unlike some other matte lipsticks, leaves the lips feeling moisturized rather than dry. If you eat or drink right after applying, it can transfer a bit. However, as mentioned, it is on the more hydrating side, so waiting a short while before eating or drinking helps. This lipstick is easy to use for lining the lips. And as a matte formula, it looks beautiful when applied after lining the lips.

It's a vivid red-orange color, and I can wear it as an everyday full-lip look without any discomfort. The color payoff is really great, and it makes my complexion look brighter as well! Since it's a velvet formula, it applies better if you exfoliate your lips first before applying it!
