  I've been using it since last fall, and it's really completely eliminated my concerns about dryness and flakiness. I bought it based on YouTube and friend recommendations, and it's been great for exfoliating. The formula is a bit solid, but it melts when it touches the skin, becoming soft. I'm not sure about the recommended skin type, but if you have issues with flakiness, I'd recommend it. It also seems to handle blemishes better than expected.
