After using it, my skin feels incredibly soft. It's great for removing dead skin cells! The granules are quite irritating, and it's really difficult to apply. - ji******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJul 2, 2025
It's a great buy when on sale - perfect for some skin pampering during your shower routine! While there's not much to complain about, it does feel a bit pricey if you're paying full price. - ps******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 1, 2025
First off, it has a scent reminiscent of kohlrabi, which is quite amusing! More importantly, it's definitely effective at removing dead skin cells. When you use it, you can feel your skin becoming noticeably softer and smoother. I highly recommend this as a peel-off mask for exfoliation! While I didn't experience any major issues, the large granules might cause some irritation for those with sensitive skin. Also, it comes in a jar that you scoop out with your fingers, which isn't the most hygienic packaging. That's my only slight disappointment with this product. The mask seems to work hard at revealing fresher skin underneath. For those concerned about blemishes or uneven skin tone, this could be a great addition to your skincare routine. Just remember to patch test first if you have super sensitive skin! - sm********Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJun 29, 2025
This stuff is absolutely incredible! After washing my face with it, my skin went crazy - in the best way possible! It's like having baby-soft skin. I'm not exaggerating, you've got to trust me on this one and give it a try! The only downside is that it's a bit tricky to apply. It feels a bit rough on the skin. But aside from that, it's really fantastic! The product seems to have a remarkable effect on skin texture, making it exceptionally soft and smooth. However, the application process might be slightly challenging due to its texture. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall benefits appear to outweigh this drawback significantly. - 75********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 29, 2025
I have combination and super sensitive skin. The texture feels a bit grainy at first, but with just a little gentle massaging, it becomes incredibly smooth. It's amazing! For those with sensitive skin, I recommend working it in with your hands a bit. The scent is absolutely divine, and it's perfect even for those of us with sensitive and blemish-prone skin. You absolutely must try this! The only downside is that it can be a bit painful if you try to apply it right away. That's really the only drawback. It's fine to add a little water and continue using it. - ps*****Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 28, 2025
I've been using this product for over a year now. After exfoliating, my skin feels incredibly smooth and soft. Those with super sensitive skin might find the exfoliating particles a bit harsh or tingling. For an even more thorough cleanse, after exfoliating, try washing it off by gently massaging with warm water, similar to how you'd emulsify a cleansing oil. This method leaves your skin feeling extra clean. - je**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 27, 2025
I have combination dehydrated skin that changes with the seasons. This is a product I've been using for ages. I love its subtle, sweet scent and how it gently exfoliates while keeping my skin moisturized and soft. The scrub particles are a bit on the larger side, but I've found a great technique: I apply it before showering, let the steam soften it a bit, then gently massage it in. This way, I can remove dead skin cells without any irritation. After using it, my skin feels incredibly smooth and hydrated. That's why it's been a staple in my skincare routine for so long. I was surprised to see PEG listed as the second ingredient. Given that there are many other products with better ingredients that are just as effective, I probably won't repurchase this unless they change the formula. While it feels nice to use, the ingredient list leaves something to be desired. For those with thin or sensitive skin, try applying it before your shower and letting the steam soften it. This allows for a gentler exfoliation experience. - aq********Dry SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 25, 2025
It looks quite small, but when you actually spread it on your face, there's plenty. I'd say it'll last at least 6 months? It definitely makes your face smooth. Personally, I find it less irritating than peeling gels, and it seems to effectively remove dead skin cells. The sugar granules are a bit larger than expected, so it can feel slightly abrasive when rolling on your face. But if you use a gentle touch, it's fine. I'll probably use it once or twice a month. It takes a bit longer, but I feel it's less irritating than AHA/BHA toners. It's also less slippery than toners, which I like. It rinses off more easily than I expected. After use, my face doesn't feel tight and stays hydrated. It's a bit harsh, so not recommended for those with super sensitive skin. Frequent use is also not advised. Even though my nails aren't particularly long (they're actually quite short), some sugar granules get stuck under them. But they wash away easily. Since it tends to stick to hair, I recommend using it when your hair is wet after a shower, rather than when it's completely dry. To avoid introducing water into the product, I suggest using a spatula or silicone brush to scoop it out instead of your fingers. - tr*******************Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 24, 2025
Skinfood Black Sugar Mask Wash Off: An effective scrub mask for managing blemishes (Caution for sensitive skin) I bought the Skinfood Black Sugar Mask Wash Off because I was struggling with blackheads. As someone who prefers scrub products, I found the user experience quite satisfying. Although I haven't been using it for long, I feel like my blackheads are gradually disappearing with each use. The scent is also pleasant! However, this product contains sugar granules as a physical exfoliant, so those with super sensitive skin should be extra cautious when using it. Since it may cause irritation, it's best to use only a small amount or gently roll it on the skin. It's probably best to use this 2-3 times a week. - qt*******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 20, 2025
My skin definitely looks fresh and smooth after using this, and it does a great job of removing dead skin cells! The exfoliating particles can be a bit harsh on the skin. I wouldn't recommend using it too often, as it might cause irritation. For those with super sensitive skin, it's best to patch test first and use sparingly to avoid potential blemishes or redness.
