I'm glad I purchased this one. It has a soothing effect, and after using the mask, I notice an overall improvement in my skin texture.
ConsPersonally, I find the scent too overpowering, so I won't be repurchasing it, unfortunately.

I thought it might be irritating due to the red bean particles, but it's actually less harsh than expected. 2. After using the mask pack, my skin feels incredibly smooth. 3. As a result, my complexion seems to have a brighter appearance.
Cons1. No noticeable effect on blackheads. 2. The scent is quite strong at first - however, you get used to it with continued use. 3. I'm not sure about its effectiveness in removing dead skin cells. 4. The quantity seems a bit small. It's a product that can be used without much fuss, but I'm not sure if I'll repurchase it.

You can visually see that it effectively removes oils and other impurities.
ConsThe scent - I was really taken aback at first. It's truly awful. The scrub particles - they don't come off easily. Even after rinsing for a long time, they stick to the towel, and you have to shake it out.

After using the mask, my face feels incredibly smooth.
ConsThe scent is a bit overwhelming. I thought I'd get used to it, but even with continued use, the strong smell persists.

It's not overly drying and causes minimal irritation. While the chunky red bean scrub particles make it too harsh for frequent use, applying it once a week works wonders. It eliminates those pesky sebum bumps and leaves my skin feeling silky smooth. Personally, I found it more effective than Innisfree's Volcanic Pore Mask. Unlike other mud masks that make my skin feel tight and parched as they dry, this one is noticeably gentler. After leaving it on for 15 minutes and massaging for a minute with the scrub particles while rinsing, I can feel how much smoother my skin becomes when applying my skincare products.
ConsThe scent is truly, madly, deeply overwhelming - an incredibly intense green tea fragrance that's about a million times too strong. It's so artificial that it's even more off-putting. I'd honestly consider purchasing the full-size product after finishing this, but I'm not sure I can endure the smell. Every time I open the lid to use it, that wretched green tea scent wafts out, making me feel nauseous. It's especially unbearable when applying it around my nose and the surrounding skin area.
TipFor the sake of protecting the precious sense of smell of consumers like myself, I believe Papa Recipe should seriously reconsider including that god-awful green tea fragrance in their product.

Rather than eliminating sebum, it seems to play a role closer to soothing the skin, which helped alleviate skin troubles. It not only calms existing blemishes but also seems to prevent new ones from forming when you feel them coming on. When I use this mask at those times, it seems to keep them at bay. However, after using the mask, rather than feeling hydrated, my skin actually feels drier. Those who often experience dryness should keep this in mind.
ConsFor me, when I use it on days my skin is good, it causes breakouts, but on days when my skin isn't great, it quickly suppresses blemishes. Please use it after carefully assessing your skin condition. And the scent... it's awful. Really. It's like applying rotten grass to your face. There's a sour smell and a bitter smell... I'm not usually sensitive to fragrances, but the scent was so unpleasant that I hesitated to use it. However, expecting a product with good ingredients to also have a pleasant scent might be asking for too much, right?
TipIt's perfect to rinse off with water after 10 minutes. The mask sets just enough to be easy to remove. Even for those with oily skin, I recommend using it no more than 3 times a week. I noticed that using it more frequently seemed to make the skin dry and sensitive.

I noticed a reduction in whiteheads and small blemishes compared to before, and the redness significantly decreased. While the red bean granules were a bit large, they provided an excellent scrubbing effect.
ConsThe scent is absolutely awful... It's even stronger than tea tree and too unpleasant to be called medicinal. While it's better than an artificial fragrance, it'll take some time to get used to. Also, the texture isn't great. It's too thick and doesn't spread easily, so it took a while to apply.
TipIt's best to use this after a shower when your pores are open. I found it's ideal to wash it off between 10-15 minutes, before the mask completely hardens. Also, to minimize irritation, try misting your face to add some hydration before applying the mask.

ConsPersonally, I don't want to repurchase because the scent was too strong and unpleasant for me

ConsThe scent was too strong and unpleasant. There were many coarse granules in the pack, which were quite irritating while using it.

Since the ingredients contain tea tree, it seems like you can expect some soothing effects.
ConsThe smell is so rancid... I almost vomited when I first applied it. I don't usually mind fragrances, but this one is really terrible. I don't understand at all why they put azuki bean granules in a scrub. On top of that, unlike the mud pack, it dries out quickly. My skin feels so tight. Don't buy this, just get the mud pack instead, please.. Those with oil-sensitive skin should definitely avoid this pack. There's not a single oil that's not in it.
TipIt's good to apply the tea tree pack on oily areas and the mugwort mud pack on other parts of the face...
