This was my first time trying a MAC palette, and I was impressed with the color payoff. I personally love brown shades, so the color combination really appealed to me. What's great is that there are plenty of base colors, so you won't run out of one shade while the others remain untouched! The palette even comes with a mirror, which is a nice touch. The case is too long, making it impractical for on-the-go use. If you drop it while carrying it around, everything could shatter... So I absolutely can't take it with me when I'm out and about. I appreciate that they included a lot of frequently used base shades. It shows they really put thought into creating a well-rounded combination. However, it's just too long to recommend as a portable option.

But that's not all - each shade has three types of shimmer: fine glitter, subtle sheen, and statement sparkle. It's simply unparalleled. The price point is steep, but it's worth the investment. I just wish they offered a wider variety of palettes. Some shades double as highlighters, making them perfect for glamorous party or holiday looks when you want that extra sparkle.
